I am ranking #1-2 for a very important keyword, but sometimes an "In the news" section shows up above my site. I have seen for other keywords that is shows up lower on the page, below ~3 organic rankings. Any insight to how this works? Thanks!

Get more authority. No other way around it. Those sites in news section are stronger and more relevant than your site. That's why the news section is higher.

Hi I am the SEO of 123movies.to
I have joined this forums few days back. These days I have a lot of time to spare as we are successful in conquering the entertainment niche.

To rank above them, you would require quality backlinks. It would be great if you could tell me the URL of the page and the keyword.

Of course. You are a SEO of random bad site, came to forum 2 weeks ago and you are asking people to send you URL and keywords. Of course. Reported.

What do you mean by random bad site?

This is the only way you can do to beat them.

Web page content has its place and is very important not only the search engines eyes but also in the perception and eyes of your viewer. The more well written, relevant, unique web page content you have, the more the visitors to your site will think of you as an expert in your field.

Am I really the only one completely agitated by these 1 month old accounts spamming utter bullshit generic responses, which are completely off topic all the time? There are always at least 3 in each thread. "You should provide value for your readers bla bla" etc.

The search engines look at the unique content in somewhat of the same way, and they will give a good ranking to the page because they feel it’s valuable to what the person who searched for the information is actually looking for.
