help dropped 1 rank in serp

hi friends

I have been outranked yesterday by a website that have less back links, thin and spinned or scraped content

I dropped 1 rank only with one very important keyword and it only effect my homepage, all my other ranked content and article are fine, could this be google dance?

the website that outranked me have more articles but they are all under 200 words, and not optimized, and the owner doesn't even try to build links past a few directories when they launched the website, so they have fewer back links but one of their back links is from a 60+ DA link exchange directory, should I risk it and build a link there to my money site?

I feel like I should just give up since I have been working so hard for a few months nonstop only to be outranked by a thin content website ):

BTW: Who said that articles should be more than 200words if they have more value than article of 1200words?

You better upped your game. If a website with less than 200 words, spunned and not targeted can outrank you. I wonder what will happen if a website with more links, clean content start competing with you.

Add more quality links or some social signals.

There isn't one. Learn SEO and understand what your site needs before spending money...

Or don't listen to me and throw your money away.

Dropping 1 spot shoudnt be a matter of concern, the site that outranked you would probably drop out in the next few days. But they have obviously done something better than yourself to outrank you and you need to improve upon you site accordingly.
