It is no longer a secret that people use social media to build tier2 links. Tell me what sites you use for this purpose?

I think that social signals don't have much impact from a ranking perspective at the moment. An excpetion may be Google+ because Google has control over it. Other social networks like Facebook and Twitter are out of Google's control. That doesn't mean they don't have an impact but I think backlinks provide more SEO value.

What I can tell you from experience is that social signals blasts won't get you anywhere from a SEO perspective. Try to get organic social signals through like jackers or similar tactics.

I have never seen any social signals work at building Tier 2 links.

I would focus on engagement through the main social media sites to get traffic and natural mentions/links.

Or did you mean social bookmarking?
