Client Won't Pay

Of course it works. Every Friday I have thousands of dollars worth of declined payments that I have to go chase. Every friday I dial them over and over again - sometimes 5 6 or 7 times in a day each. You need some leverage - threaten to take the site down, even if you don't plan on doing on.

Will do. I have already told her i'll remove the work. It was only a few PBN links and web 2.0 profiles anyway so I haven't lost out on much.

She has two websites, one which she never let me know about at all.

The one I ranked, according to her is her old site, however the contract states this domain in it.

The other domain is a new site, nothing been done to it, doesn't even rank in the top 100.

So basically she wants the work doing on the other domain before she pays, I suggested a 301 redirect however she tells me she wants to keep her old domain aswel. I'm not doing work for a site that isn't in the contract

I'd send her the contract with the site highlighted via Fedex or some other overnight service.

Then call her 5 minutes after you get the P.O.D. and explain what the contract reads as to which site.

Should she not comply at that time (I'd appeal to her sense of right and wrong), I'd do the phone call thing as people pay just to stop the annoyance of a bunch of calls daily. Be prepared to accept 80% or something to put this to bed so you can move onto better waters.

If you are not into that, sell the debt or hire a collection agency to handle that aspect for you. You'll only get partial payment but you'll get paid.

As to the billboard idea or creating other properties to try and collect or to bust her stones that is throwing good time and money after bad and would not do that.

If she doesn't pay, don't just remove your links. but also add some spam links to make sure that she won't ever rank that website...

If you never get the payment to redirect her website to some gay porn channel if it was website work. If not just negative seo, and you can even rank other sites talking shit about her business and rank it under her keywords.

If she is a scammer, then there is no way you'll be able to get your money. Scammers don't intend to pay in the first place.

You could hire a collection agency. They get the job done... and dont get paid until they do... You may only walk out with $500, and they will keep the rest, but better than nothing...
