Ping the site or the RSS links ??!

Hello guys,

i have an other linkwheel question, linus said in his linkwheel report that we must ping the rss feed of the propreties, so i was wondering if what he means with the rss link is this : mything.web2site.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
is this what should i ping ? and what about pinging the actual link of the propretie ? or pinging teh rss link only is enough ?

Pings won't harm you, they can only help so:
ping your RSS feeds (add to RSS directories TOO) and ping your properties

Probably yes. Usually ends with .xml
You can check is your feed valid or not for example here: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi

guys, i have an other question and i don't wana start a new thread ... when it coems to bookmarking, do the bookmarking site must be ********, because i see that most popular ones such as digg and delicious are Nofollow ... should i just bookmark regardless if the site is ******** or not ?

Bookmarking from nofollow websites will also give you link juice but not so much as from same pagerank but ******** website.
