No2 in Google, No30 in Yahoo!

It seems that the work I am doing is helping my results in Google, however Yahoo seems to be immune from my efforts.

What is it that Yahoo likes? Is there anything in particular I should or shouldn't be doing to get high in Yahoo?

Im my experience, you don't have a problem. Yahoo seems to like spam - hence my sites. I hold the number 1 spot in Yahoo for many sites that google won't touch. For yahoo, it's simply a question of the power of your backlinks.

Well, Yahoo tends not to sandbox sites like Google does. Google has a much better, more intricate algorithm for deciding relevancy and rank. Yahoo is an older system, which responds better to brute force.

Basically to rank in Yahoo, get as many high PR links as you can, no matter what they are. But if you do this, you jeopardize your google position, which in my view is far more important.

Yahoo will look at nothing. So I can put a link on 1000 porn sites to my sites for a keyword like "Florida Vacations". I can also do comment spam, forum spam, etc... Become #1.

Google takes into account porn vs. mainstream. It also takes into account the general overall niche of the sites... Like is Florida Vacations being linked into from ToyBoxesRUs? If so, give the link less credit... If the link was from foxnews that would be different since their site is a general site with no niche.

Google also takes into account how many of the sites that link into you seem to be link farms.. which most blogs comments and forums are... So if the page has 1000 links for many different niches it is a link farm... give it far less... And if your site has predominantly more link farm links, sandbox it for 6 months...
