Does business account really lower the engagement ?

Hi guys,

I have an account around 17K, I have seen posts which says that business account lowers the engagement, so I converted my account to personal but did not notice a change in engagement. How you been experimenting on this ?

Because one case doesn't make a trend? Maybe he was an anomaly and others have seen a massive change in engagement when switching?

Maybe you have to start the account as a personal one and keep it that way. You should test by converting a personal account into business and see if that LOWERS engagement

On IG, every account is different and has It's own algorithm. So when it doesnt change anything for him, why does he have to care about others?
