Anyone seen this before?

I had a few PBN posts pointed at a single URL on one of my sites. 3 to 4 days later the URL and ONLY that URL, is deindexed from Google. A dance would be normal but literally this page has just disappeared from SERPS. This site has 1000's of pages indexed too.

Anyone ever seen this before because I'm like WTF?

Thanks for any input.

Penguin 4.0 maybe? They said it will target individual pages instead of knocking the whole site down.

Did you buy the links or were they from your own PBN ?

same thing here happen with som PBN links.. only slowly recovering after removal :(

Hello, i am SEO of 123movies. I think you should remove some PBN links and use this tool onehourindexing.co
Moreover, Don't u know about how to hide PBN

Google is b***h, Sites are taking ages to get index,Indexed Links are getting removed. OP same situation here my website few pages also disappeared.

Gxxgle is, in my recent experiences, going through a period of transformation. Likely, any prediction of their behavior would stand to be wrong right now, so I'll just convey my personal experience in the last few weeks.

I too, had a page that was indexed, and was floating somewhere on page 4. The authority of my domain, and internal links had gotten the page there. I floated a few PBN links towards it, and waited. It moved up to page 2-3 and danced for a week or so, and then completely disappeared. It was gone for like 2 weeks, and I asking myself the same questions you are asking yourself: "has my pbn become toxic?", "has the new updates penalized my site?", etc... None of the pages I was ranking for already suffered, so I didn't panic. I continued as normal, and built a second and third tier of links to that page, and just waited.

It came back from nowhere, to the bottom of page 1!

By all my measures it was a fairly competitive keyword, getting around 1000 searches a month, and containing 'best'. Like I said, it's been my experience with gxxgle lately that things are changing, obviously with the new mobile index, but also with their core ranking algorithm.

I'd take a deep breath, and unless you receive messages in your search console (webmaster tools) I would continue with business as usual.

Google maybe changing. But google itself wants you to made backlinks. The backlinks should not be spam.
Moreover, proper implementation of SEO tricks would not affect ur site's Health

I bought them. I will play the waiting game to see what gives. It's not an important page by any means. Was just testing some stuff. It's been indexed for probably 6+ months too. I know it surely "could" be the PBN itself but I see everything else ranking that's linked to from those PBNs so I'm kind of doubting that. Maybe onsite stuff I guess. Will see how it pans out over next couple weeks.

Was just curious to see other's experiences on that. Previously I've had whole sites whacked not an individual URL. Don't get me wrong...I'm HAPPY that it's just one URL instead of the whole domain. LOL

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Much appreciated.

One of my homepages has vanished. Been about 10 days now. Still waiting.

I also met with such cases but is the home page of my web
Short time later it will reappear

This happens EVERY SINGLE DAY. It may or may not be that PBN that got you caught. Could have simply been the straw that broke the camel's back. Google runs an AI, and everything you do weighs its decision making. The question now is if you got a formal penalty, and if not how to fix this.

Have you try re-submit this url in webmaster tool? I think it's just an error/bug by Google, if your site get penalized, you will see an entire deindexation

This is either Penguin enjoying its "We will consider each page of the website separately", in which case it is possible to get one page of a website tanked. Or, it's a classic Google fuck up. Definitely not an overall penalty or anything.
