Wordpress Guru Needed Here - Plugin Name

Hello, please i need your help.

Am having problems looking for a plugin that can help me, make my website attachment looks clean.

FOR Example;
The normal wordpress attachment url for PDF goes like this:

http://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/bhw.pdf

But i want to have a cleaner URL like this.

http://www.example.com/myname/bhw.pdf


Please how can i achieve this?

What you need is mod_rewrite

Just edit the .htaccess file.

Search for mod_rewrite examples - there are plenty.

Thanks for replying. I don't know much about Mod rewriting and won't want to mess up this site, it's a big and ranking website.
Just thought there must be a plugin that does this thing effortlessly.

Either you create a new directory under your wordpress installation/root directory ("myname" in your case) and upload the files there or you could use a redirect plugin.

I have never thought of a redirection plugin though. Nice idea. I was going through google and came across plugins like Media file renamer, etc.
But they don't do what i need. I just need a clean attachment url,

May be check this plugin, it's mentioned that they support pretty url for download links, I haven't tried it though.

Thanks. Am currently going through this plugin, and it seems to change different links of my media attachment pages.

Finally DONE.

Decided to use the cpanel, by creating a new folder and uploading all the documents there.
