website question

I hear about sites being "deindexed" a lot and dont really understand what that means....can ne one explain it to me?? what does it do to u?? how does it effect ur site and content?? is it permanent??

This means your site will no longer be on Google and therefore people will not be able to reach it by searching for your keywords. Deindexing does not do anything to you, your website nor your content. Permanent or not, it depends on the reason behind deindexing.

Search engines like Google are database applications which index pages from websites. The indexing is done by bots or crawler programs which are part of the search engine application. So, when a site is indexed by Google, its pages are stored in the Google database. For various reasons, your site may be removed from the index (database). Some of these reasons are

1. You fail to renew your hosting when the hosting contract expires
2. Your site has very few incoming links, so the spiders can not find it
3. You violate the TOS of search engines

When your site is deindexed, naturally you would lose your rankings too. If your site is deindexed because of reasons 1 or 2, you can get it reindexed easily by making sure your site is online and by builidng inbound links. However, if you have violated any TOS, you'd have to make corrections and send a request for reinclusion (in case of Google, it is done from Webmaster Central). Hope it helps.

TYVM for this info. I ask because people wanted me to blast their site with xrumer and i told them i was still learning the best ways to use the software so they dont get into ne trouble but they said they would rather be blasted first and fix the probs later and i just wanted to make sure the problems can be fixed or at least they can try.

important it's to keep your a$$ under the radar like it's said , a sandbox / deindex process can be sometime '' frustrating '' for most of the peoples , but sometime you know what's funny , peoples learning from mistakes ... and once you fked over one thing and you saw you made it wrong ... with sure will not repeat the same mistake again ...

Using xrumer with no knowledge's most probably will finish you getting banned or sandboxed by search engines , but that's a learning process you know ...
