Virgin proxies are private proxies never used for the underlying service.

For example, a lot of providers will offer Instagram proxies. These are private proxies that are virgin for Instagram. Meaning they have never been used to connect to Instagram before.

By using virgin proxies you do not run the risk of getting a flagged IP, nor blocking your account.

That's what it should mean, but in fact it's not what it means. It means what @Chris.Roark said above: so called virgin proxies are only virgin for specific sites and they were already used before on other sites. Let's say you buy Twitter proxies, it easily could be that those were used for Google scraping before for instance. For this very reason, if it's not specified, you should always ask the provider, if the desired proxies can be used for your purpose or not.

As long as Twitter goes, it's not really proxy-sensitive, at least according to my findings, this goes to account management only. If you want proxies for account creation, that's different, more delicate and you should ask the provider first. For account management most private proxies are good unless it's specified otherwise.

As I said couple of weeks before, these IG proxies, Twt proxies are b*shit. How do you know these are virgin? I'm using semi dedicated proxies for 2 years and never had problems in any social network.
