This is a pretty pointless post you just made. That is pretty standard for forums. Editing a post is for exactly that, editing... Be it to correct a quick mistake, or add in a bit of missed info, it is NOT for completely changing the message days or weeks later.

Well c'mon, after 30 minutes? Are you kidding me? 24 hours is MUCH better. I'm not saying make it unlimited for DAYS AND WEEKS to come. No, just a BIT longer

This is perfect for methods etc. Because I would usually go in and edit my method threads because i get new info , take some out, change around some things to make it easier. before it was like i had to proofread in like 30 seconds lol

What would also be good is if you had the option to delete your own posts. That way if you accidentally double post or anything. You can delete that extra post

That would be handy.

Just to clarify my earlier statement, I do agree that a longer window is nice, but over 24 hours would be too much. Again, I'm not sure how having a longer window could be abused, but I know someone would find a way.
