Hello, 1 month ago I created a new website that has no link profile so far. Just created around 20 blog posts on it.
1. Can I already start linkbuilding with PBNs?
2. Can I have only PBNs as my source of backlinks?

Make sure you're following things as listed below before going to advanced PBN stuff:-

1) CPC $1+
2) Searches 3000+
3) Number of words 3 or 3+
4) KC max 35
5) TITLE: Exact keyword should not be used more than 4 times
6) URL: Inner pages should be more than 5+
7) TF: atleast 2 competitors should have less than 25 tf
8) CF: atleast 2 competitors should have less than 25 cf
9) External backlinks and referring domains: any competitor should not exceed more than 1000 links and also 2 competitors should have less than 25 links
10) Site age: atleast one site should be less than 3 years old

If it helps, don't forget to give thanks!

That's totally unrelated. I'm reporting you for thanks fishing.

1. Yes, there is no time to start. What you must keep in mind is to have a regular flow of backlinks creation. Not just 20 in a day and nothing for months.
2. It's better to diversify. blog post comments, blog post, etc etc. Having only one source of backlink is not good looking to big G

Hi patlang, well in case of a brand new site I could recommend you by starting off with some diversification first.
In my opinion it is important that you have a wide type of diversified links since only PBN´s perhaps won´t get you the full power.

Set up your self promotion first like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube etc. Typically start link building more aggressive depending on your niche.

i just want to give OP some answer, but i get a good things here.
thnks fishing s been happened..

Having a wide variety of topics will help you get the most out of PBN. Definitely diversify.

You can get started with a PBN no issue, but be very careful of your anchor texts. Also, try to get other link types too for diversity.

Based on my experience I would also first go with some social signals, maybe some high quality blog comments (niche related, not shitty spammy ones - some good sellers on the Marketplace) +links from diverse sources (bought -> BHW Marketplace OR done by yourself). After OR already during building these links, slowly start linking out from your PBN. Pay attention to balanced link velocity and a well-diversified anchor text profile.

1. - Why not? You can add a backlink here and there, just keep it steady. I would however start off with brand and URL anchors at first.
2. - And I don't see a problem with this either, if you keep your anchor diversity good enough. Yeh, diversity blagh blagh, but what's the point? PBN isn't a "different" kind of backlink compared to others. It's a backlink from a website and we shouldn't really do that much emphasis on PBNs like if it was something completely different in the eyes of Google. Sure, add some web 2.0s, press release a blog comment here and there, but I woudln't be so afraid to linking purely from PBN sites. No idea why are people still so strict about "diverse link types".

You can rank with PBN's only but it is riskier. Mix it up. Get some diversity. That's what looks natural to Google

Getting back links from authority that should not contain any spam will help to increase your traffic, instead get some social signals and allow guest posting which is the way your site looks natural.
Focus on good quality content related to your niche.

What Google wants
I always find it useful to briefly analyze Google’s recommendations. You can be sure those press releases and webmaster guideline pages are carefully worded, and often we can derive more clarification of what is needed.

If we can step back a little, this makes perfect sense. If you have a simple five-page website, no corresponding social or PR noise, and 5,000 links… something does not quite add up there. Why would people cite that resource so widely?

Don't forget to give thanks! :)
