Money DOESN'T buy everything..

How many poor people are in the world that they are sad because of money?
In the most cases money can make people to be happy in their lives.

I have seen plenty of rich people that are unhappy and I've seen plenty of people that literally have nothing, and are perfectly happy.

And the most precious things in my life definitely can't be bought.

If you have enough and don't know how to spend those money, give those money to the poor people and help them for their studies, foods etc.,
you'll get the some sort of happiness that can't be get from anything else.

“Money, if it does not bring you happiness, it will at least help you be miserable in comfort.” :)
– Helen Gurley Brown

"It's true that money can't buy you happiness. But it will buy you a yacht that you can park next to it"

David Lee Roth

life is about balance, you will be happy if you care about balance...

so, family friends without enough money its nothing, you will be inhappy and this will affect your family too

and money without friends and family is also nothing because you cant buy feelings...I mean true one

so the solution is to have a balanced life

Every person has only one main currency in his life. It's time. All we do is exchange it for different resources. I excange my to profit for example. And my wife exchange her time for making the difference for much less money. But she is happy doing what she like and making really important things. It's true that money can buy you everything you want but money can influence your main currency cost) Having 1 million would let me exchange my time on social and other pleasant resources)

It begs the question "what is happiness"? Does having loads of money and loads of stuff make you really happy? I dont think so. Once upon a time I had nothing, I was all but living on the street, I didnt have a penny to my name and I was only just able to buy food each week. But actually I was quite happy then.

Now I have quite a bit of money, lots of material things but I don't think any of that has made me happier - its just made me want more! Now I want a nicer car, a bigger house and everything I have just seems mediocre - but if I could give my past self all this stuff 15 years ago Im sure it would have absolutely amazed me.

I've been very poor and I've been financially secure.

I'm not making an argument but rather stating that it's not always about the buck.

You can't buy a good relationship with your family, true friends and good health (in extreme instances) so it has no play or influence there.

I value family, friends and good health over an eight figure bank account; others may not and that is fine if they choose to live that way.

You have a solid argument but on the flip side you claim you cherish family and friends alot. My issue is friends... as one gets alot of money you loose lots of genuine friends, its not easy to get genuine friends, friends who can stick with you through thick and thin. Its also not easy to have even more than 8 genuine friends. Friends is a vague word, you can spend all your time with friends and drinking colleagues but they will only be there during the fun times... also most of friends are because you have something in common, if today you change business or whatever its easier to change friend coz they were only there because of the common agenda.
I think Family is great but friends is shytty... the keyword is " True / Genuine friends" i doubt you can even have 5.

Brain is wired to focus on what we lack. Happiness is product of hormones, induced when we lack nothing. If emotions were rational, more money would mean more happiness. But due to adjustment principles, we are happy only if we have constant growth and improvements. Brain is relative, gets used to better very fast, and focus on what is missing. Thats why lottery winners never stay happy. If we have 5 strong areas and 1 weak, we will always think about that 1 .
Why ? because brain is problem solver. Life and survival is based on solving problems. What is to be gained from observing working parts. Problems are solved by focusing on broken parts. Emotions have role to push us forward, and motivate us. Chase good feelings, avoid bad, they are primitive instinctive indicators, each having clear purpose.

True, money can't buy happiness and it is applicable for only 2 categories of people.
1. Poor.
2. Super Rich.
