What age to start promoting?

Assuming you will be using a bot:
You can start immediately but you need to start really slow.
If they are completely new accounts then I would start with:
100-150 follows per day
200-300 likes per day
2-3 uploads per day
Each day you can scale up by 50 until you hit 400 follows per day.
No bot:
The limits are much higher (I do not have experience with manual).

I wait 3 days before I start anything other than uploading a few pics.
Day 3: 500 follows, 0 unfollows
Day 7: 1,000 follows, 250 unfollows
Day 14: 1,000 follows, 750 unfollows
I've been doing this with 20 accounts for several months now, and haven't encountered issues. From time to time I have to do a PVA, but that's it. That being said, if this doesn't work out for you it's not my fault!

I use a bot. No links, just a simple bio relevant to the niche. I'd wait till you had a large amount of follows before putting in a Link, and at that point, you want to fly under the radar and not spam as much.
I don't ever add a Link though, I have a different method of monetizing them.
