A good tip for you. NEVER share your keywords with others! If you have a good keyword there with a good search volume and low competition, you may find that others may now be jumping in front of you to rank this. Just a bit of advice, that's all.

Use you primary keyword in your articles title and once or twice in your body. Best approach however is to let your article flow with your knowledge of the topic.
Use a couple of LSI keywords. But as i said, if you have proper knowledge and have done adequate research on the topic you are going to write on, you don't have to worry about purposely stuffing your keywords and LSI's in to it. They will blend it naturally and in a more efficient way.

Choosing long-tail keywords are easy to rank.Write the contents about your keyword and start to build the backlinks from the good authoritative sites also niche based. Keep work on it and track the results of it.

Step One: Select your raw keywords first before selecting your final long tail keywords. A right selection will help you get the right rank.

Step Two: Conduct competitors' keyword research whether they already using the same keywords and you need to overtake them.

Step Three: Try to select final keywords that are long tail so that you will have to compete less than your competitors. You might generate less competitive keywords using variations with the head or seed keywords.

Step Four: Use the selected keywords in the content naturally, with synonymous words or LSI way in right order.

Step Five: Try to create content length 1500+ words with significant number of optimized images.
