If you sell enough, you should be overwhelming the fake negative reviews with positive ones based on volume. On my biggest selling account I get like 5 negs a month and it doesn't affect me at all. I wouldn't recommend trying get get people banned on eBay, as that can backfire at you.

But how can I ban somebody?

I would recommend camillebeaute's suggestion. Set your items to be paid for immediately after purchase. That way that person has to pay you in order to finalize the sale. Of course that person will then have to file a chargeback or request a cancel, but if they do it so many times in a short period, you can mention it to ebay and I'm sure they'll take a look at it and see an unusual activity with that account and may suspend them.

Yeah, I remember that feeling, your competitors try and knock you down by starting shit in your feedback, oh the good old days:confused:

What I don't understand is why doesn't ebay change the feedback system? It's too heavily weighted on the feedback percentage score.
What I mean is, if you go to any shopping mall or retail store, or buy any brand, none of them have a feedback score beside their name showing what percentage they are at, and how many negatives they have in their feedbacks. It just seems silly to me. Microsoft might have 112 million positives and 3.9 million negatives. I mean, 3.9 milllion negatives??? Who would buy from anyone that has 4 million negatives? That's what I mean. The reality is, all companies, Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, u name it, have thousands upon thousands of negatives, but there's no record that keeps score. It's just a reputation that is built or destroyed over the long haul.

Here's an example about ebay: under the current system, it looks like this: 98 positives, 2 negatives means you have a 98% rating which is decent but not great compared to everyone else whose got 99-100%. So just because of those 2 negatives, you don't look like a great seller. But if you were to only look at the record, 98-2, I mean, c'mon, that's a stellar record is it not?? If a sports team went 98-2, that would be the greatest team of all time. If a pitcher had a record of 98-2, well, fill in the blank. If a boxer had a record of 98-2 with 98 KOs, that's stunning record. But in ebay, if you have 98% and 2 negatives, that's not so stellar. It's only stellar if you are a big volume seller and you have 98,000 positives and 2,000 negatives for a 98% rating, you'd still be seen as an amazing seller due to the volume.

It would be nice to see a record instead of a % score. Only in ebay does a 94% mean a HORRIBLE rating. Only in ebay can you score 95% and say, my business is in trouble, I'm losing customers. This is the problem. As I said, big companies like Apple, Samsung etc probably have a real life score of 91-94% because you can bet there are tons and tons of negatives out there from customers who had a bad experience with them. But that doesn't mean Apple and Samsung are scammers and horrible sellers.

eBay takes that into account, that's why these scumbags will attack your account from multiple stealth accounts at once.

Again, feedback score does not affect your selling metrics or placement or at least is a very minor factor. Do not worry about feedback because it's a waste of time to be worrying about it. I've had accounts as low as 85% (because I forgot to cancel all listings before putting account on ice for future use and didn't log in for 4 months) and I've had no problem selling on it once I put on products at ridiculously low prices because I didn't want to get it banned.

Let's come back to main topic...any advices

First, immediately paying after the sale will cause them to request a refund. As long as you make it hard for them to reach the feedback comments and leave a rude comment. Instead you need to record their actions and drive a blacklist. Leave them feedback saying that they are a dummy account to buy and slander from your competition. I'd also leave a note for these people on your listings warning that you record and file every transatction under (your country documentation laws) in order to prevent fraud. At least letting people know that "hey, this person x bought, refunded only to gain access to slander me on my feedback score page" so that people understand what is going on.

If its like that , stop selling and start buying from your competitors and start charging back and posting neg reviews. If comp try to f*ck you, f**k them in ass so they learn a good lesson.

I am asking about apples and you are talking about strawberies!

How would you even know which competitor to start attacking? I mean it's not like as if the competitor is doing it form his selling account or fake accounts he made from just down the road, right?

the competitors buying, adding them to the do not accept list does a wonderful job on this.

Well i happened to me too, at the begining i choose an option in ebay to block buyers " i did block those who have 0 feed back, also those not verified by phone and those who have more than one item bought not not payed "

That plus the suggestion above " item must be payed after purchase" will filter your problem, at the then that persom would quit scamming, either cuz it cost him money or too work to kick your account.

Same time, try to start a new ebay account grow it for future problems ( you can have as many accounts as you want in ebay ( diffrente emails )" nor paypal but you can add many emails in paypal for paying you").

Do not bother trying to do what he is doing, take a deep breath and continue your work, storm will pass.

There is people like that everywere , and the problem is that big platforms do not care, they charge you fees , they have their cut whatever happens to you so, try to open new accounts and spread your eggs.

You can restrict buyers with unpaid item strikes.

Volume is very important for any eBay seller, you need large amounts of good feedback to drown out the negatives.
