Posting in FB groups > low Adsense income

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why my Adsense income is so low if I drive traffic from Facebook groups? I can drive 1-3k users (from The Netherlands and Belgium) to my site daily, but my income is only a few Euro's.

Well, my best day was like 4 euro. But now it's 2 euro. I got very low CPC too.

There could be lots of reasons. Anything from poor ad placement, to poor content and/or a high bounce rate. You won't get a fat lot from impressions, and depending on the niche the CPC could be poor.

I'm not convinced Adsense is the correct choice for FB traffic. Facebook users are not actively looking most of the time. When they hit your site it's more of an interest because of something they've seen.

You'd be better off collecting information from the user and targeting them another way. Email, SMS etc.

CPC depends on your niche. It doesn't really matter if the traffic came from social media sites as long as your keywords or niche are high paying, you don't have to worry. I am getting about 15k daily traffic from facebook but only getting around $0.20 cpc. It's normal coz my site is just a viral site and contents are not targeted. Try changing your keyword or niche to high paying keywords. Usually, high paying keywords are health, loans, education and insurance.

CPC is based on user (location, interest, previous visited websites etc), along with site content (e.g loan advertisers wants to be
seen on relevant sites, and not dog sites)
CTR is based on ad placement (click-through-rate of ad) along with ad relevance to user.

Make sure the traffic you're sending are being sent to a relevant site for the majority of them. Optimize placement of ads. Provide good
content (as in language, text ratio and # of ads on the landing page) and you should see income going up.

i do post one FB groups. Actually those happen to read my post, thread will know my site , adsense haven't earn much in fact despite going to one year soon. Always per day just few cents to at most one dollar. Yesterday I only got 0.95 cent today Surprising 3 dollars ++ haven't check yet to see how it go today. I feel sometimes hard to see how google assign . Cross my fingers now every day at least reach 1 dollar mark first but seem vary ..most of the days just cents some day one dollar...
