Payment methods ??

Hello, I'm not sure this is the right section to post sorry mods if inconvenient kindly move it to a proper section!

I will start a woocommerce dropshipping website. What are the payment methods ?
I understand it usually comes with PayPal standard option but what if the customer has a credit card only?

I have read some horror stories about 2c and i don't know much about the other options could someone please enlighten me ? Thanks in advance !

I´m interested aswell about payment methods. I´m setting up a site and ordered SLL yesterday which is still pending. Can anyone suggest live payment gateways for this? I made account in a few and all of them asked my reselling licence and utility bill and bank statements about my company... I´m a simple man trying to resell some goods.

If there aren´t any gateways what DO NOT ask the questions I mentioned, which gateways are the way to go then? I do have a comapny but its local. Even if I wanted to connect my business to the dropshipping sites, I think I´m not allowed to do it on local level, as dropshipping is so far from my niche of my company.


I´m really lost on this on how people do dropshipping? I´m talking about the smaller dudes with a few sites just reselling. Do the sites not accept credit cards? Thats like so much potential customers lost right there... right?

I want them to be able to pay by just entering cc info and bam, done.

I also started a site a week ago and Credit card gateways are huge problem for me, if you don't live in USA, UK or a big country like that it's really hard to get something done

External processors require you to have a company and submit business licences and stuff to get approved in a first place

This is giving me such a headache, I have everything planned out, awesome product, maketing method is great, but I just cannot sort this cc gateway though...

Paypal fully works as a standalone credit card processor.Buyers don't need to have a paypal account to make purchases.Please conduct a thorough research before speculating.

It depends your target countries. If you only ship to North America, Canada, then CC is necessary, Worldpay, stripe, Braintree... lots of CC processor. If your target market is like Russia or some other European countries like Germany, Netherlands, then you also need alternative local payments. Please pm me for more info. Stripe is definitely the way to go. They don't support 3DSecure just yet (unlike Braintree), meaning you have to be careful of frauds, but it's very easy and fast to set up.

Oh no. There are a few countries they do not accept at the moment but afaik all of Europe (except Malta) is accepted.
