Social Signals lookup?

Hey. What do you guys use to lookup competitors socialsignals? Any free alternative would be great.

I would like to lookup total shares/likes on a competitors facebook profile/twitter etc.

Total likes: 29381
Total shares: 241

etc.

Is this possible without having access to the page in question?

Dont think there is any free apps for seeing socal signals.

Maybe a free plugin.

Yeah- It seems that facebook/twitter have changed ther API - i used to be able to get this data from various socialsignals services before - but i'm certain that theres some way to get this data

Yeah - that's excactly what i'm after however - for some reason both facebook & twitter is reporing 0 on all domains iv'e tried

So; http://www.@@@@@,com and not just http://www.@@@@@.com

BuzzSumo is good but it doesnot shows full results in free version.

Thanks for the links i tried all of them and facebook/twitter is reporting 0 on all domains (even sa url's such as youtube.com, buzzfeed.com etc)

There are a few social signal checker tools still out there. The problem is, nowadays the Google plus, twitter and facebook have stopped showing share counts for links. Not only they stopped showing count on the buttons, but some even closed their API for getting counts. They are just killing the excitement for writing great posts or creating great content. Those buttons looked so awesome back those days.

Most of the apps now are forced to show partial share count depending on how many shares were generated by clicking on their buttons.
I have been involved in a project to create social media sharing button sets but after almost a year I am still looking for a way to check total tweet count for any link. Nobody can give that count now.
