Ahref vs SEMrush

I know that there are review sites and people already talked about this but I want to know which software is at the moment performing better in terms of data reliablity and what tools the one or the other doesn't have.

Would be awesome if someone of you that uses the tool (or maybe even both) could reply.

Both tools are good but i use ahref as it solve my purpose.

Why compare? They are bit diffrent tool. You will need both
SEMrush is for keyword&domain analytics and Ahref is for backlink analysis.
SEMrush has huge US google keyword data but You can only export 10~30% of them depending on your subscription

What sergenthw said; you're comparing apples and pears. Ahrefs is for backlink analysis and SEMRush is for keyword research. SEMRush also offers some backlink analysis stuff but it's fairly awful when compared to industry-standard tools (like Ahrefs and Majestic. Notice how I didn't mention Moz, because it sucks!)

I don't know if Ahrefs offers any KWR (keyword-research) facilities but whatever they have is likely to be puke compared with SEMRush's great value for money in that area. You really can't compare a keyword-research led tool with a backlink analysis led tool, it just doesn't make any sense to do so...

As the others state, SEM Rush is great for certain things and Ahrefs is more of a backlink analysis tool.

SEM Rush is required more as far as im concerned as it is second to none in terms of competitor analysis and keyword research, and its auditing is fairly good too.

Personally i think Ahrefs is ok, bit overpriced but provides in depth data on peoples backlinks

Ahref is the absolute best for backlinks but SEMRUSH is amazing for all around analysis

Frankly, if you want to get tools for backlink analysis, Ahref is the best tool now.

You could use both the tools.
Ahrefs is mainly for backlink analysis and Semrush is mainly for Keyword research.
