I've been using this for a while and is way much faster than any extension/software you may find. Block then from your host resolution!

The list is huge and it's awesome because doesn't add 127.0.0.1 as many do, instead goes to 0.0.0.0 which isn't resolved to any web server you may be running in your local PC.
