I do think the video tutorials are the best for this work. There are several of them and will enable you learn the required skills with much ease and at no cost. For Tier 1 you can use PBN links that would be better to increase your site ranking strategy and you can also create some Web 2.0 to it.If you like to use automated link building software use it for tier2 sites.And check the backlink history of the site and spam score because purchasing links.

I suggest high quality PBN links and Do Follow Web 2.0 links. You can buff up those web 2.0's with GSA blasts and cheap PBN posts.

If it's a money site you should build manual tier 1 links such as web 2.0 or pbn. You can then build tier 2 with RankerX for automated high DA sites and GSA for blog comments and such.
