Instagram Account - Phone Verification Problem

Occasionally I am asked to verify my phone for my instagram account. I have been doing some light botting with this account for about 6 months.

Today I got the phone verification and entered my cell phone like usual. But when I click "submit" nothing happens. The next window doesn't show, no text arrives. I have tried with several different phone numbers and get the same result every time.

Any ideas?

I feel you, 2 of my accounts have the issue. I have no idea why, but I know those accounts still aren't banned or maybe they are :\

same happened with a couple accounts in the past week, just stopped the accounts hoping in a few days it starts working.

I was curious if it had something to do with 1 phone number/account. I entered a phone number that I know is not associated with an account also didn't work.

I will try later today with an android device (currenlty using apple) to see if that works. I was able to change my password, however, if I attempt to go to the account's public page it says it doesn't exist.

I'll clarify:
- Still not working
- I could change password, but still couldn't get into account.
- Can't login via desktop website.
- Tonight I'll attempt to login with a different device.

I'm not an IG'er so take what I say with a grain of salt, but from a logistical standpoint I highly doubt that they're limiting current accounts that have been registered under the same number to 1 phone number per account. If they did this, there would be millions of legitimate users that just happen to be registered under a common number completely unable to access their accounts, and it'd be a PR nightmare.

They may limit new accounts to one phone number eventually, but I don't think they'd limit current accounts to the millions of legitimate users it'd inversely affect.

Email or Phone verification is done usually by Instagram mostly when it smells something fishy (like login from new IP etc) or sometimes routinely. I had 3 accounts for verification, verified 2 of them and got them working.

It's been maybe 7 months today and now just tried to login in to the 3rd account, unfortunately it's still asks for verification
