Whose getting the iPhone 7 or 7+ when it comes out?

Wires provide a more secure connection and faster speeds, even when 6G or 7G comes out FTTH is still going to be much much better.
Ok but think 20 years from now. They will work less on wired technology and more on wireless. So wireless will become better because nobody will be working on making wired better.

This info is going over your head. It is not possible for wireless to be superior to wires.

Wires will always be further developed, and have higher data speeds then wireless.

2036, who is going to be choosing wireless only connection of only 10Gb/s over 1Tb/s wired connection for home internet.

Lots of people would. But what about audio. You think audio will still be wired in the future. It will be wireless

Ok ya but most things will be wireless in your home. Maybe some places the require secure and very fast connection will use wired. But in the average home, almost everything will be wireless

i dont mind it being wireless. but charge me $100+ for it being "proprietary" and i say F U apple. There are cheaper chinese bluetooth out there that works the same.

and why wont they go usb type C to audio? it's because apple is saying F U, we da boss.

proprietary thing is so out of trend now man.

Only in the homes of hipsters that are being scammed left and right by fashion companies pretending to be tech companies.

Now this maki guy is changing the argument too. We were talking about computers and phones now he's broadening it...
Leave him alone he will pay extra money for wireless scams.

Why are people getting so mad about it. Ya it's gona suck at the beginning but it's the future. We eventually need to change to completely wireless and this is the beginning.
I'm not so convinced about this. It already divides their customers.

I listen to a lot of music, although not by using an iPhone, but iPods. The earphones without a cable will be a hazard. I can imagine, that they can get lost pretty easily and those earphones are expensive, i guess more money for Apple lol.
Btw i'm not sure about these newer earpods, but the older Apple earphones sucked, so i use my iPods with Sennheiser and Beats earphones/headphones.
Now it's not enough that you need to charge the device, you need to charge the earphones too and that will be forgotten sometimes, i'm pretty sure about that. When you would need them, they won't be charged and you'll be pissed. Even if you don't forget to charge them, when they are fully charged, they will only work for a few hours before you need to charge them again. If Apple wanted to make their customer's life more complicated, they successfully achieved it.

Without offering the cable option too, i see this as one step back. Just like when they decided to ditch the smaller phone all together and only make large ones, just to realize that they made a huge mistake, so they came out with the SE.

Sometimes Apple does things, which seem to be rushed, when there would be a lot better place to make a radical change since long years and that's the battery.

Yes it's gona suck now and getting some used to. But it's a transition. Give it 2-3 years and it will be very good and you will be happy

I'm quite happy with my wires already. lol

Honestly, for me the only thing which really needs to be wireless in my home is the internet, which is wireless since a good 15 years now. Everything else can stay on cable. But maybe i'm just too analog and getting old for changes. :)

I don't really mind no headphone jack, each iphone gets a free adapter sent with it so you can still use headphones. I'm pumped to get the new phone this friday first day it comes out, hopefully I can. No one buy samsung note 7 btw, the phones explode because the battery is bad, stay far away

Note 7 has better multi core performance, its worth waiting for the better batteries.

I have t-mobile jump on demand so I can upgrade 3 times a year at no extra costs. Planning to head to my local store on Friday when the iPhone 7 comes out and pick it up. Who else is getting the new iPhone once it comes out?

Upgrade 3 x per year.... Hmm that sounds interesting! I'm with o2 and they don't do that offer :-/

Will probably wait a while anyway, like my iPhone 6s. But hopefully get 7 in 6 months or so.
I hate anything else Apple but I LOVE the iPhones.

I've never owned an iPhone but I think im going to get the iPhone 8 next year. Supposedly it will be pretty good.

I still love my Galaxy and don't plan on giving it up :)
