CAMERA SHYNESS? How to overcome?

Seriously speaking, before I do something like that I drink. Pour some shots and you won't care if you are blushing.

It would be obvious if I was drunk on camera, that's not allowed in a job setting!
If I even get lightly buzzed I'd feel tired and like crap, that's not worth it

Come on this is serious. I have been stressing over this & I'm not going to do anything stupid just to suppress my nervousness. I just want there to be a hack to stop shyness and become comfortable/relaxed, & without impairing myself. & I have a slight problem with stuttering, speaking too fast/unclearly. How am I supposed to emulate those confident people, talking smoothly with ease when this problem is so automatic for me even when I know I want to pretend to be different. That stupid awkwardness takes over without even realizing >:(

Thanks for the advice but I just don't know how you can become confident like that when you are naturally the opposite :(

Put yourself infront of the recording device and turn it on. Ramble infront of it. Move your hands. Walk around. Have a conversation with the camera. Basically just get used to recording yourself, knowing its on, and then learning to forget about it entirely.

Just make sure you rehearse what you will be talking about before hand. The more you talk publicly, the less of an issue it becomes. Just be CONFIDENT (fake it until you make it). If you're the one teaching, remember you're the "smarter" one
