[DISCUSSION] Growing Facebook Pages - Tips & Advice

Hi guys, I'm opening this thread because I recently started a brand new Facebook page and I am trying to grow it posting content in the hope that it goes viral. I didn't create the page for affiliate marketing or something like that, I simply want to grow it with real likes and make a brand out of it.
I know that the hardest part is the beginning and the hardest likes to obtain are the first ones, but after that I know that likes will start coming in naturally. So as long as you get the beginning right, everything is smooth flowing.

Let's start using this thread as the place where we talk about growing Facebook pages: tips, advices, personal experiences, resources etc.

Thanks for your input. You're right, I'm struggling right now to get likes but I won't give up. I currently have 1 video that got 7.3k views in 1 day and I literally had 0 page likes when I published it.

What I'm having trouble with is getting people that watch the video to also like the page. What do you recommend regarding this?

When i started i created a couple of posts that sparks interaction, and get people to like and share posts also... Keep posting and share to your friends, it all starts fro the first 100 likes

Thanks man, I appreciate it.
Always at the end of the video I put a nice text saying something like, for example if the video was about something that implies breakfast, at the end I would say: "Share this video if you love breakfast". I know this is good but I just need a bigger audience. I'll get there no matter what haha.

I'm not 100% sure TBH, I've never been good at the FB growing, and just got back into it recently. Started a page. My thoughts are to generate some spun content (specific to my nich/product) and grab some good photos and images.

What I intend to do is look for groups that have a similar interest to what I'm pushing, and post into those groups. Now I haven't started this process yet, but I assume that aiming for a relatively larger group, with similar interested will funnel some of that into the page/product I'm promoting.

Note i'm doing health/weightloss.. and I know this market is TOUGH AS ....!! but its a start, with a product that is unique that could work as its relatively 'new.'

I'm intending on using MassPlanner (I'm not affiliated with this at all - its just what I've used before) to automate some of the FB group join, comments and such. Still setting everything up, and using some basic spinning for the 'catch phrases.' If your on a budget, you can do it the old school method, though the issue with doing this is I generally run out of steam (CBF finding images, editing, writing up catch phrases, spinning, then scheduling)... Its... tedious to say the least.. But if you've got any tools or thoughts on how to streamline the process, to make it easier, that would be great.

Question for you - are your videos hosted within Youtube with links to FB? Or Video's your hosting via FB? I assume Youtube but i thought best to ask.

Hi. My videos are hosted on Facebook itself. I don't intend to use this page for any affiliate market businesses, I just want to grow it and make a brand out of it, something like BuzzFeed.

I'm also planning on using MassPlanner and joining alot of groups to post into, but the main problem I think it's gonna be, at least for me, is getting the facebook accounts made and verified. I'm not worried about getting them banned after that, because I'm only going to post 5 times in 24 hours with each account and also I'm not going to post any external links, basically I'm going to share my videos from my page with those farm accounts.

How do you plan to create those Facebook accounts?

Yeah that would work. For FB accounts, if its a churn and burn, best to pick up some cheap here mate.
I think I also saw a thread earlier for SMS for PVA accounts or some sort - can't be sure, pretty tired and was only scanning through.

In the past I've just used 2 real accounts to join groups, add content, and so forth. I'm not spamming 5 x per group but dropping a link per group, around 5-6 per day. Its posted, I just use the bump tool - stops you having to spam and burning your accounts if you don't have any/many.

Thanks for your input. I am using the "Like @Page for more" already but I didn't use the "Tag your friends" line, I'm going to use it since it can bring a lot of traffic.

Depends on what your posting to friend. For me, I'm posting to sites that may alreayd be advertising and selling items. So for arguments sake, lets say it doesn't notify as brand new.. Thats fair enough.. But what it will do is bump the post to the TOP.

So when someone see's a new post, they'll be redirected to the group/page, see the NEW post, and guess what, you find you ad right up there as well. It definitely improves the presence, and I've had others interact again and again on the same advert. Just note that some groups will remove certain posts after XXX amount of days/weeks so just make sure you know which ones those are and to have the add ready to be re-queued for the post.

My tip: do not do clickbaity headlines in posts. FB will recognize and decrease your page reach. This can mess up your process.

I started one with real likes, increased them to 2.5k likes and then bought 5k fake likes.
It's growing with almost 100 likes daily now.
You just have to be regular in posting good and engaging content, schedule it if you want.
