Woow ! 52 orders & 260$ in 3 days .

This is what I love to see. People taking action and getting results. The only way to make money online is to be willing to take action and to keep optimizing your approach as you see necessary.

Keep up the hard work!

Congrats ! Way to go!

Mind sharing how you promoted your business?

Congrats mate :) You took action and see you're already earning. :)

Thank you .

This is a good start. Do not setup your own website. Sell through Facebook fanpage and post your products in local sales group (Facebook). Do not waste time on your own website for the moment as you are primary selling locally. It is like a neighbourhood mum and pop shop. Reinvest your profits and order larger bulk, negotiate for better rates with your suppliers. Will be good if you can speak Chinese as it makes the negotiation process much more simpler.

Thanks , yeah i really understand the situation , what give me such an idea to sell through my facebook page , is that there are 2 other pages doing the same ! but they sell different products & they don't have a website , so that will be a pros for my business .
LOL talking to aliexpress sellers will give you a serious headache !! hhh

Awesome work man! You are at the start of something great.

Was all the traffic and sales from just Organic FB group or did you run a little FB ads to get those sales?

Edit: ^^Also don't listen to the guy above me, thats stupid advice.

You do want to create your own website....it is not a waste of time lol. Keep going with what you have planned is what i recommend.

Thank you . The majority of traffic is from facebook groups , also did some promotion , total of what i spent is 2.71 $

The logic why a fanpage can sell better than without a website is that human being tends to trust more on facebook as the reviews and comments are more authentic (double edged sword as you can be smack badly as well if your product sucks). A website is too one directional and requires you to invest the time and money to build up the reputation before buyer will trust and buy from it. Especially with so many scams online, products delivered not as described, people naturally prefer to pay on cash on delivery. Some things are good to have but not essential for a startup. It will be good to have a proper website once you have gain enough followers of your products.

At the end of the day, you need to have a long term vision for your business. But also small milestones such as making x amount before you build your own websites. This will ensure that you stay focus and be constantly filled with blood (cashflow from business). As a website and promoting it will deplete your resources.

Can you please share case study please.

Actually it's not something big or new ! the main idea is to sell Fans merchandise in your country . take the following simple steps :

1- select a fans niche : fans of a tv series, movies, cartoon ...etc e.g (Game of thrones, the avengers, deadpool..etc)

2- do research now to see if there are fans for your niche in your country , search in google, facebook , instagram & other social media , also don't forget local communities if you have one in your country (forums e.g) also check if there is any kind of competition by looking into the top ecommerce platforms at your country . An example of how to do so in facebook is by typing the following : niche+fans+country (example : Hatty potter fans vietnam...etc) , facebook groups are a good place to find fans .

3- do some research in aliexpress to see if there are products for your niche , be sure that the products are popular , and have good rating . (Jewellery & goodies are preferred).

4-Create a facebook page for your niche , & fill it with entertaining content (non commercial) like memes , photos ...etc , then share it to facebook groups , fanpages , and the other traffic source you use . this is to build some engagement before starting .

5 - while doing this , go to aliexpress and buy the products you'll sell , remember to focus on hot products with high rating , select also trusted sellers by checking their rating in aliexpress , negotiate with seller to give you a wholesale price , they are wide open for this . also check with more than one seller and compare the price (a 0.2 $ not too big but with a wholesale purchase that's a damn money) , . even if the product is already with the lowest price, with a wholesale you can benefit from the fast shipping free or with a lowest price as an example. so it's important to check with potential sellers for each product .

6- after you receive the products , start posting products images , you can use the ones in aliexpress , make your post's relevant and provide your audience with informations about shipping & payment ,
use Google forms or any online forms apps to collect orders , you'll need customer informations for shipping . Google forms has a feature to export data to google sheets so that will help you organize payments & keep an eye to your orders .
Tips : you can do pre-launch & give your audiences a period of a week as example for pre-orders , collect the hot products in your niche & publish them to your audience , so that you know which products will be sold the best , then start buying at aliexpress . use an online form to collect pre-order , you can either ask them for the full informations so that they don't need to fill it again , or only some contact info .
Hope i made it clear with theses few steps , the important is that you select a niche with high audiences in your country without the merchandise being sold in any of the

how to get traffic???

I used facebook groups + Facebook ads .

The usual problem with advice rendered with starting your own site is that people underestimate the importance to build trust with your prospect before they become customer. Whereas on Facebook, everything is pretty transparent in this aspect and especially when you sell locally. Your audience from Facebook now that you are not running a scam. If need be, they can just visit you to collect their orders.

A beautiful ecommerce site is just a site. The reputation and trust takes many years to build. Some are lucky as they are selling products where demand exceed supplies. So buyers cannot choose but to take the risk to buy. Fanpage offers a short cut to this step by being locally located and having real people commenting on your product or services. No doubt there can be fake reviews but it is so much easier to spot them too. Furthermore, Facebook makes it hard for scammer as they are demanding ID verifications. The community on Facebook are also actively taking down scammers and poor products or service too.

Awesome, thanks. Looks like you know what you're doing :D
Best of luck in the future! I hope you keep us updated.

@Setox you might want to buy shoutout from local big facebook fanpage or youtube channel owner. Very effective to boost your sales. Much better than spending money on a website in this case and spend money doing SEO or purchasing SEO services.

You can still consider using woocommerce for building a good site. but I would advice you check out Yaros' Alidropship plugin, which makes your work more easier.

you imported from aliexpress before testing would it sell or not? How many did you import?
