I totally agree, however it is interesting because now those who have bought them (and profited under false statistics) are getting exposed.

Again, not sure if it's a real purge but from what I've seen yesterday many accounts have lost quite big amounts of followers (and likes, comments, views).

Will try to gather some accounts to show here later today.

Well "exposed" is relative, cause if you want to make someone exposed... just buy tons of shit accounts to him... so who knows if it was the account owner who buy or not the fake ones?

No, not anymore. Most sellers are hit and almost all accounts with fakes are being hit (hard). As mentioned before, sellers are going to have a hell of a time keeping their panels up - IG is going hard om them this time.

Similarly to what i've wrote on another thread not only did my growth is now smaller but also my engagement. I went from +200/300 likes per photo to 100/150. It's a significant drop...
Don't you think that Instagram is slowly starting to become like facebook and eventually organic growth/engagement will become a thing of the past? THis would ruin mine and many people prospects of profit from the platform

Over 30 accounts banned today as well in Pokemon Go niche. These were ~4 months aged accounts that had been running for weeks without any issues. Probably banned due to keywords in bio (reported by competitor bots) or proxies.

All of them are investing a lot of money in new accounts now, and in October that investment will be lost because the (new) accounts will get banned during the 'real' purge.

Is this rumor confirmed? What your sources are?

I run a e-commerce and i use to resell social growth services likes Fb likes or IG followers, my followers are dropping like mad these days, if the october purge it's a real news i preferr to stop to sell for a while instead of sell again after this purge and be forced to refund my customers in october.

Are followers gained with method like instafollow been affected too?

I can't confirm it in that way, since I (and nobody else except some executives at Facebook) don't have a letter from Instagram stating that they'll start 'for real' in October.

However, I do know quite some folks that work over there and this has been the rumor for months, which makes total sense with the introduction of Instagram analytics / Business accounts.

They need clean data, and clean data they will get by getting rid of the not pure results (i.e. fake followers / likes).

Oh and no, Instagress and such methods are good to go - however do watch your speed and forget about letting it run 24/7.

No human being will be online 24/7 and if you were (and active) you will get banned in the very near future.
