[Method] Get your disabled Instagram account back

I've been waiting between 2 and 8 days for my accounts where they asked for the photo with code.

GREAT NEWS!
I got the account back after 1.5 days when I replied to the email with the code written on a piece of paper.
I also tried the hacked request, but they don't respond. (that doesn't matter anymore now )
I hope you get your accounts back as well!

I have done this method by following this post but when I got it reactivated all the photos, followers and following are gone.. I really need them back! What should I do? Do I wait? Has this happened to anyone before?

That's extremely strange. I'd try responding to the email Instagram sent you to see if they can look into that.

So i got this after filling out the form

''It looks like your account has been disabled. We disable Instagram accounts that don't follow our Terms of Use. Actions that are against our terms include:

- Continued prohibited behavior after receiving a warning or multiple warnings from Instagram

- Unsolicited contact with others for the purpose of harassment, advertising, promoting, dating or other inappropriate conduct''

Now it doesnt say i did those things, it says thats whats against their terms. Ive seen some other peoples post and it says ''we wont be able to reactivate it'' and since i havent recieved that will there be a chance to get it back?

Yes, you have a great chance of getting it back. Mine used to get disabled weekly with that same message and I got them back every time.

You should be able to do the first part in the original post...

If you're receiving a message saying your account has been disabled for violating terms they give you the option of "letting them know" if they made a mistake. As far as my testing has gone, this has worked once for me. If it gets disabled multiple times they will say it CAN NOT be restored. BUT there's a way around that. You can claim that it was hacked!

Just fill out the form to "Let them know" and you will probably need to send a verification photo via email and you should have your account back in a week or so.

Yeah the ''learn more'' part? i never get an email back from them filling out the appeal, with the hacked account i get the message that i broke terms of service etc but doesnt say it will never be able to get reactivated

It's strange alright. Perhaps it was compromised prior to being deactivated? Someone could have deleted everything that was on the account.

I still get the you have reached us on a channel we dont support bullshit when I try on hotmail, gmail and outlook hahah like wtf is even the point of having a contact page. Does it still work for anyone else and what did you do to get it to send? I'm trying this on my 300k follower account that got disabled a year ago so help is appreciated.

This will save a lot of time taking another verification pic and going through that whole annoying process. Please note that you should save the original verification photo just in case this happens. I guess they have some weird algorithm that disables accounts and some valid accounts get disabled by mistake (that's my guess at least).

It seems every time it has been a "mistake". It seems it's always the same. It will just randomly get disabled every month or two and I have to email them to get it back. I've had no problems getting it back every time though. It's been multiple accounts also so I know this method works across different accounts.

No there was no continued prohibited behavior or they wouldn't enable me again. Just some generic terms violation notice and them saying let us know if we made a mistake and apparently they always do.

If you've already tried the photo verification method and the hack method then you must have really done something that broke the rules and I don't think it's possible to restore the account at that point.
