Got An Old Lyric Video Channel

Hi, i have an old youtube lyric video channel from when i first got started in im in 2013 that has grown to 13,000+ subscribers and was looking for some ways to start start monetising this channel again.

I remember back then i was getting like 5-10 messages a day from other upcoming musicians asking me to upload their music/like cover songs etc to my channel, but i was too much of noob then to capitalize on this.

So, I was thinking about contacting some young upcoming musicians who do cover songs and seeing if they would let me add their some of their cover songs to my channel in exhange for allowing me to monetise their content.

The only thing i am worried about is if their doing cover songs for copyrighted music, would this still be considered copyright content even if they take the songs and put their own twist on it.

Also if you have any ideas and suggestions on how to monetize this channel im all ears.

So the record companies will allow you to monetize the cover lyric video but they will take % on your income. I've been on this niche last year

It goes well actually but im not doing this anymore and no my channels are gone coz it got banned. This what i've done on the music niche.
