URL shortener 301 redirect trick

thanks guys, ive got some good quality web2.0s on the way so i'll test it out with them.

The idea of buying expired domains is to take their link juice, using this tactic is pointless. There is no point of the 301 being there you idiot.

I tried this and it's not working for me, my website even dropped in serps

I have experienced only negative results by testing this.

Tried this on many sites (5-10) with various different techniques (even tiered shorturls) and haven't had any positive serp movements at all.

In fact, I've managed to completely wipe out a couple of domains from SERPs.

What was your link structure? Gsa>shortener>web2.0>money site?

from folks who have tried this, how long usually does it take for you to notice some improvement on your web 2.0 site? assume you are GSA / Scrapeboxing to death the URL redirects.

Why are you bumping a year old thread?

Why are you bumping a year old thread?

you expect me to start a new thread!?!?!??! or continue with existing topic and allow for other users to learn from previous history?!

in forums it is customary to search and see if others have asked similar questions and include your related questions in the same thread and not start a new thread again.

A YEAR AGO!!!!!!!

Do you know how much time that is in internet terms, buddy?

Problem with using bit.ly etc is that they will almost always eventually find out and delete your links. I use Zuf.io and it works, also allows mass link shortening

Anyone has recent experiences if this still works?

i have been testing this for over last 6 weeks. by using gsa search engine ranker and scrapebox, i blasted 16 url shortners across 2 links: edublogs.org and blogspot and was able to achieve this:
edublog: TF: 9 & CF: 39
blogspot: TF: 5 & CF:32

one thing to note, i am using public proxies, so maybe that is why i am not getting the desired result within this timeframe. will continue to have these 2 tools to blast these url shortners.

First and second method is good.
How safe is it to power your pbn with URL shortners? Might try it on a few of my lower authority pbns

EDIT: Anyone have experience with a 301 pyramid to PBN?
