What I said was: Marriage is a better deal than staying single - from a financial perspective.
Learn how to respond to what someone is actually saying genius. Your point does not disprove mine, in fact the two points are unrelated. In countries like Japan and China marriage is a better deal than staying single and the vast majority of women want to get married as soon as possible. In the Japanese Tanabata celebration that vast majority of single women's wish is to get married to a man who will provide for them. This is just the fact - deal with it.

I'm speaking in general. Sure there are some women in Asia who do not want to get married, just like there are some dogs that do not bark - but the vast majority do in both cases.

They want to get married as soon as possible is because in Asia, women over 30 years old are having hard time finding their life partners, that has nothing to do with not able to support themselves financially.
This come from a 25 years old Vietnam born Chinese btw, i worked as a market researcher so i used to talk to people every single day.

The reason some do not want marriage is because they are holding out for a man who makes more money. However, the economy in Japan has suppressed wages to the point where this is unlikely.

That is because they haven't faced reality about the world including their own country being a different place than what it used to be. They need to wake up and realize that they should be not be depending on other people for their source of income, but to do it themselves.
