Should I even bother with Facebook ads now?

So I started a Facebook account and set up an ad to run. Totally white hat, sending to a normal landing page with a mainstream offer. I'm in the u.s. signed up from my computer and used my own credit card.

Anyway, the next day Facbook says the ads are deactivated and I have to send in an ID to try to recover the account. The ads have never run.

Today when I go to try to send in the information, the ads are no longer in my ad manager and there is no place to ask for the ads to be reinstated. No email, no message, no nothing. But the page is still active.

Should I even bother trying to make a new ad like the one I did before. I checked and it violated no terms of use, I read over the ad guidelines an nothing in my ad was wrong, or even on the edge.

Is Facebook just like this until you get the first ad running?

Lol dunno I've never had any problems with fb ads and I used ads on 4 different facebook accounts.

This shouldn't happen of you used a legitimate Credit Card. Just give them a call and they will sort it out for you if it is a legit account

Did Fb block your cc or they removed the ads? What triggered it? Usually they send you an email. I had a tough time once, convincing them that the card I was using was mine and it was legitimate. Took more than three weeks of repeated emails. Got it sorted though.

That's weird, why would FB remove your ads? Like, your ads were gone completely?

Yeah, try submit them again. Maybe it's just a glitch.

As for asking for ID, yeah FB once asked me about it too (I was doing white hat stuff on my own account)

I would email customer support at fb ads nobody here will know the reason why they got removed usually they just dont get allowed rather than completely being removed.

This is the worst and most heartless spammer i have ever come across. No apologies, no nothing, but you just want to sell.

After reading your post again I can clearly see what the problem was.
You used a brand new account to run ads.
This will never ever work, accounts need to be active for at least a couple months and have daily activity, friends, etc.
Doesn't matter if everything you used is legit. You could've stole someone's ccs logged into an internet cafe and done ads with this info as far as Facebook is concerned.

Thanks, do you mean ads with links to outside websites or any ads? Because as soon as you create a page, the first thing they ask you is to promote with paid ads.

Any kind of ads, most of the time they'll ban you as soon as you put in a credit card if the account is not old enough.

They don't expect you to be a brand new account, it's just an automatic thing they show to try to get regular people to do ads when they create fanpages.
Source: I used to farm hundreds of accounts years ago.
