I've decided to finally try out this method as a final attempt to make some extra $$$ (for hookers of course). I've got probably the most virgin and exploitable niche ever, and I'm extremely interested to see how using targeted influencer marketing on social media will go. Basically just have a fake "shop" set up on Shopify which is pretty much just a huge sales funnel for a "free product". The "free"product I'm selling costs me $3, but people are going to be paying $8 shipping. For more info on my method, go on Reddit without an adblocker. Not joking, three guys have been milking the everloving fuck out of this method on Reddit and making tons of money.

Some feedback/PlzLinkSomeGoodBlogPosts I'd like:
  • What should my ad's look like?
  • Is the shipping too expensive?
  • What should my daily ad spend be?

Hi, for ad budget you should dedicate at least 50$ budget for testing, to see what PPC, engagement and maybe even cost/conversion. After that, start small, test and once you have a winner campaign/image/ad, you can scale up as long as your ROAS is good enough for you. Don't forget remarketing campaigns, as they tend to give the best results. Drop me a PM if you want more insights on paid traffic. Good luck in your venture!

Just started a small Instagram campaign. Hopefully, this works out. I entered a pretty low CPI bid ($.50 per 1,000 impressions, with the campaign aiming for maximum daily unique impressions), so not so sure how this will go. I still feel like I'm fucking up somehow and this is not going to work.

Day 3 Update:

Spent like $60 so far. No success yet, wasted $10 on Ads that didn't work. Over 10,000 views to my Ad...but only three clicks to my Website. I could consult with someone, cross test different Ads, but fuck that-I've got a better idea. Going to reach out to pages on Instagram, should be cheaper and more engaged audience. Excited for the results of that tomorrow.

To clear up some things, I'm sure Facebook works for some people-Just not for me. I've run 3 different Ads each less than a Day with extremely good targeted audience. If that doesn't do it, I doubt their Ads working effectively as a whole. Might be my niche, but I doubt it, you can practically sell anything these days. Nobody else is doing my niche right now, and the audience is absolutely massive.

Day 4 Update:
2 Abandoned checkouts overnight. I've resolved to lowering the price...profit per is now only $4. I inked a deal with a guy who has roughly 500,000 followers on Instagram - He claims he can get me roughly 120,000 impressions for $60. His followers are in my target market, so this should go well. Wish me luck.

Waiting to see how this goes. Wishing you luck op. I currently have a shopify shop set up with over 300 products via Oberlo. Havent gotten around to publishing it yet. But what you are doing is precisely what I intend to do. So, its like tracking my own journey from the future. :D

I've try so many time using instagram. Buying ads, shoutout, building my own insta account and follower but none worked out well. By not working out well I mean the revenue generated from insta is extremely much less compared to using other ads publisher for example uncle G and that kid Bing. 50 bucks for uncle G and Bing give much more revenue compared to 500 invested in insta.

I'm not denying insta will work for ecommerce but it is not for me. Maybe my niche couldn't convert much from insta audience. But well, reading here and there, still pushing my luck. Hope will found the right niche or the right method of building specific insta audience that convert well.

Btw, good luck OP.

Mid-Day Update:
20 Minutes into my Instagram Ad...3 orders, and tons of abandoned checkouts. Feeling pretty good. Need 15 orders to pay for the Ad, and 50 orders until pure profit.

WOW. This is such a good method! Only a few more orders until I've payed off the Ad.

hello, good luck to you.

I have some questions;

- What kind of product that you are sending free, how shipping costs very low amount so you can get profit even you pay shipping ?
- Are you buying drop shipping products from another country ?
- Do people says about product "its normally cheaper then getting it free" ?
- how people pay to you ? with credit card ?

Thanks

I just dont see why you wouldnt set this up on woocommerce, and forget shopify and tracking it....1 product is simple enough to track but I guess they do kind of streamline the orders for you.

1.Off Aliexpress, just a cheap phone accessory that is $2. I dish out a lot for better shipping ($2) vs. their free shipping, which lowers my profits but feels better ethically. $8 shipping.
2.Yes.
3.I don't understand your question?
4. Through Shopify (which uses Stripe/Paypal). So people pay with credit card.

I have others products to make my shop look legit. Some people buy other stuff actually...

Was that due to your IG shoutout or due to the ad?

This was due to my "Shoutout" which I considered more of an Ad, because it was an entire post dedicated to my product.

How do you ship products? Do you stock them? If not, then what is delivery time.

Dropshipping off of Aliexpress. Delivery time is like a few weeks to anywhere in the world.
