I can see that you are on the right track. I am happy for you. The only thing I will urge you to do is be consistent in what you are doing. Most of the time we get carried away with the money we make and thus end up losing the whole picture. So be sure that you will even put in more effort in this. I will be following the story to see where it takes you.

August so far. I knew it was probably going to fairly mediocre, none of the programs that I record is on the so the main point is really to build up subscribers for this month. Hopefully can hit the 4000 sub mark, its 3621 as of today. One good thing that has happened is that cpm seems to be significantly up from last month (of course when I get less views). Would be good to make $500 and 300k views from this month. Then when the shows come back in September I can upload at a large rate as I did before.
I was earning awesome money until the 10th of August where a copyright notice put my account in bad standing and as you can see from the 10th of August onwards I have been earnings nothing, I managed to get the copyright retracted and the account is in good standing however monetisation is still disabled. Anybody have this problem? Does it take a few days to sort itself out?

You should have enough views to have email support enabled. Its at the bottom of the page.

Where do you find thumbnails for your videos? Are you using google search images?
Ever considered also making Canada or AU channel?

I believe Bloomberg has a 24/7 stream on YouTube.
Just use Google Images
Assisted a friend for a US channel, its quite a bit more saturated. But Canada/AU would probably be a good choice.

Stats for: 1st August - 24th August
Basically won't meet any of the targets this month but not really that worried as there was nothing on TV really. Thank god my daily tv program is back on 2nd September.
This month i've uploaded 40 video's and I doubt it will be more than 50 video's. The month before I'm pretty sure it was way over 100 video's. Either way I now have a very politics focused subscriber base which really watches most of my videos. Also should of added around 500+ subs which is important.
Also my $ CPM has gone up by nearly 30%. At the end of last month they were getting quite low and was worried about this however they've basically doubled compared to the very end of last month. It's a shame my biggest month in term of views was my lowest ad rates month. I would of earned another $500+ if it is was this month and not last month. However I'm not complaining, i've created a channel that I haven't put that much effort into this month and will make around $450.
Next month is the big push again and to get to four figures once again.

Yes, I leave the watermarks on of the programs (such as BBC etc). I also add my own watermark on my video as well to prevent any copying.

Final Stats for August.
I don't really mind the amount I have, was expected. Views down quite a bit due to UK politics being on an effective holiday. However, it should be a clear run to January now with 1 week breaks very rarely (this I can deal with properly). Now with September being here my daily political show is back (thank GOD). This month will probably my most uploaded video wise and hopefully with that increased views and revenue.
Target for August:
500k Views
Subs: Get to 5000
Revenue: $1000

i only wish i was making that figuers. Im trying this method for a week now. But isn't really going too well. 8 subs so far. is it possible that we could have a little skype session or something? i have some questions.
