I have been doing research but i think it is not working so well

So if you guys know how to please comment below, thanks:D

There used to be a google ads method back in 2013 but it don't work anymore. Now adays you have to spend so much money for google ads, wish there was a way to buy it cheap.

Hope will not be considered as spam.
This really works and is on long run.

So to have my video as reccomended , I need to uploaded on the google drive , publish it from google hangouts somehow and get at least 20 subs from it ? Can you explain ? I watched your whole video .

I've had pretty good luck with the following (simpler) method:

  • Look at your video analytics to see the ones that received the most views from recommended videos
  • The tags in those videos are valuable (recycle them)
  • If your username is unique tag it
  • Find a word or phrase that describes your channel / videos and use it across all videos.
    • a 'tagged playlist'
    • a tag on YouTube can be something like a tag line ('just do it')
I only have a few videos in a niche I am hoping to expand into but this has proved useful and I can see spikes the day after I did it.

From some playing around I think that if someone finds your video by tag and then they bounce quickly, it weakens the power of your tag.

A while ago I read an article about how some of the 'AI' parts work and verification by acceleration.

Basically if Person A posts something and Person B finds it relevant the tag will be stronger than if only Person A had found it. (A + B)
Now let's say Person C comes in and also finds it relevant. (A + B + C)

You might think well that's going to take a long time to build relevance. But here's the magic.

Now we have A connected to B and A connected to C. But B and C have never shared relevance. As soon as B and C share relevance the tag grows stronger yet again(this forms a triangle where each person's reputation is the length of the line.) This time it bonds as a mutation & distribution! (A + B) + (B + C) + (A + C) After you keep adding person D,E,F,G it will continue to grow. (not as a triangle, the remaining Persons circle the triangle keeping an eye on the Persons bonding the triangle to further verify their relevance.)

The trick, I believe, is connecting people. Yes you want an audience, and by you collecting that audience advertisers will know better where to target.
It's like if every time you flipped your light switch nothing happened. You turned your neighbors lights on. Only your neighbors are huge incorporations.

Another example is those fake facebook accounts. Chances are the person behind them didn't just add everyone they saw. They attack friends list, sheep in wolves clothing. The bot detectors and spam filters back off once you gain authenticity. How do you do that, saturate your unauthentic self with authentics.

I love this stuff, behavioral computing I think. It's beyond prediction really. Its a schematic... that works... for now.

I think I should make a youtube video on this  at the very least a diagram.

Sorry for the ramble, hope this helped in some way.

It's kinda like how bitcoin works... Nobody knows then everyone knows.

EDIT: I'm going to get a few more old verified accounts and test tag building. I think if there is a video trending you can do more than just follow the trend. There is a way to take it to the next place. Not a video with 1,000,000 views. Basically find a high viewed video and place in its related purposefully to gain subs. People say subs don't count. Sure for your analytics its a good idea for google to make it 'not count' but of course subs can = views. Subs probably build more relevance than anything. Sub means I found what I'm looking for in a way.

Sorry dude that video is painful to listen to I didn't make it past the 1st minute stop trying to use SEO on us.

From my experience
Getting recommended on a big channels side bar is damn near impossible your video needs at least 300K views.
You can be recommended on small channels easy enough but that won't help your channel grow much because no one's watching those small channels.

Any supposed guide you find online or you videos are just SEO tactics they don't really know how to get recommend on other channels besides your own videos.

Send tons of views ? and use same keywords as other video (Recommended videos section) whenever i watch videos i see only similar videos in recommended section. Its all about optimization.

& I'm saying you can get recommended from other peoples pages. I don't know how, exactly.

I've seen videos with 12 views in my related before but this could be because I cruise a lot of videos about circuitry and math etc. Maybe because huge view counts are scarce in smaller genres so it works at a curve.

All I'm saying is if enough people worked together YOU COULD get related views on targeted videos. You need to decipher what is really going on from what they want you to believe (ebooks / quick rich sites) have put attention in methods that are either obsolete (because the algorithm is analog) or they just don't hold value of any nature besides words formed into sentences.

You can't ask it to do what you want. You have to ask it how to do what you want. Then make it.

First thing to do would be define as many variables as possible about the videos functionality. By probing for signals.

What do we know about the related videos for sure.
- it can't be the main video
- it can be video you've seen already
- it can be from the same channel
- it can be from a channel in the channel's channels tab

What we could ask .
? is it the same videos if you refresh page.
? is it the same videos for different users.
? is it the same videos if you've recently watched something different then came back

I just answered this in a different thread:

Put yourself in YouTube's shoes. You need to make money selling ads. So your algorithm steers users towards videos that have shown to keep users longer on YouTube so they watch more and you can show more ads. You would not reward videos/channels with a poor user experience that results in users leaving a video too soon or even abandoning sessions.

Most likely it boils down to a combination of watch time and velocity. If the other video has fewer views but:
1) has higher completion rates
2) is longer
3) initially when published or is still gaining it's views/watch time more quickly than yours (velocity)
4) does a better job of pushing users to other videos
5) results in fewer ended viewing sessions

Where to focus:
Make longer videos than the average in your niche but be sure to ENGAGE the viewer during those longer times. It will take fewer views to rack up enough watch time to climb the SERPs and be found more often as a suggested video. If you don't engage for that longer time you will have a lower retention rate which is not good.

Your metadata will matter the most the first few days. For new content, especially newer channels, all YT has to go on is what you tell it. After a few days YouTube understands how your video performs alongside other content and performance takes over. If you aren't captioning your videos then you're leaving metadata on the table which can help your videos. Pay a few dollars and have a service do it professionally. They will even auto-upload it for you after approval. Do not rely on YT's sorry auto-captioning.

Don't bother putting a video up of a power point with a robot voice unless your niche is run by that. Even then, it's only a matter of time before you're overtaken.

The first few days after a video is published are the most crucial. You should focus all effort simultaneously for promotion (social, email, website embedding, paid, etc.). If you do paid, have all of your budget spent in the first three days. Run your paid efficiently. You don't want junk traffic (for the reasons outlined above). Junk paid traffic is just as harmful to your channel as junk organic traffic.

Don't focus on building links for links sake. They wont do much of anything on YouTube unless they are driving good views to a video. YouTube looks for results (videos that do they above) not just that links exist. That being said, DO associate a website(s) after you have gone through basic verification. The PageRank from those sites is allowed to influence your channel/videos in YT search.

Don't worry much about social engagement: comments, likes, dislikes, adds to playlists. They matter, but not to the degree of watch time, velocity and the first few days of performance. Sharing is obviously important but not because the share button was clicked X times. It matters as real shares drive more real views.

If you haven't built out a good deal of playlists then you missed an opportunity. Playlists are the single largest driver of organic watch time. Also, playlist are found in both YT SERPs and in suggested video listings. If you only have one video then pull in relevant 3rd party videos so you can make a playlist that makes sense. Don't worry about the other videos in the playlists. At the very least they will help you create longer viewing sessions.

Once you are attracting viewers be sure to use info cards to link to your other playlists (creating more watch time and strengthening your other videos) as well as to what is making you money.

Focus on growing your subscriber base and feed them content that gets them to react (watch). YouTube notices when your base reacts and when they don't. The more they don't the less YouTube will put your new content in-front of them and you worked hard to get them! The larger your base and the more they react the first few days the more competitive your channel becomes.

I just answered this in a different thread:

The whole having to constantly upload long videos every single day on youtube pisses me off you practically have to be a slave to youtube busting your ass for a few nickels and dimes. Further proof youtube favors gaming channels and crap over quality

For now; Gaming channels are popular now, but things can change. In 2012-2014 a lot of people watched fashion videos. Things trend, and this gaming thing is a trend. It's imploding imo. Like so many other industries, once the startup cost comes down enough, it gets flooded.

Something new will come.

360 videos are growing for example, and surely, once the cost of a 360 camera comes down so will views.
