No issue about your name. Instead use your middle name and last name.
Or better still use this format....
E.g Your Name is John Williams
You can use John Will or Jon Williams or John William Or Joh Wiliam

I don't think Paypal would accept my bank account and I'm not sure if they would recognize my name and adress? But I do kind of need a new bank to use anyway so once I find one I may try to open one.

Why don't you talk to your bank and take a gateway from them directly? Most of the banks are having payment gateway services and they are generally a lot more careless than gaypal, given that your business is legit.

As far as IM is concerned, there is no alternative to paypal. If you are from USA, get another account through a relative or a different bank account. Or resolve your issues with paypal.

One of my partners got his account frozen by paypal and hes now using Braintree. Works like a breeze for him and the last time i checked it works with paypal.

Braintree is owned by Paypal. That's what made me stay far, far away from them.

Use braintree but dont use your personal details. Use a relatives. Forgot to mention that.

Even I was banned by PayPal as I had negative balance in my PayPal account.. I opened another PayPal account however could not use the same bank account as it was linked to the banned PayPal.. I was unable to access the banned account to delink my bank account.. I had to make a request to PayPal support.. Then they put some fund in my banned PayPal account and settled it and then I. Got access to it to delink my bank account.. Now I have linked the same bank account to new PayPal account and happily using it.. I m in India and I don't know if it will work in USA ..
