[Case Study] - GSA Directly on One-Page Affiliate Offers.

First paid action today! Someone signed up for a trial to the premium section of one of the communities, which is valued at $1.99.

Since the start of this case study, I have driven:

1781 unique visitors

52 registration ateempts
35 registrations
29 live members

The cost of the project is $15 for three .club EMD domains, plus about $80 for a month of SAPE on site 3. There's also the added cost of 100 private proxies that I use for my various projects, dedicated server fees, and hosting for my PBNs

I've bitten the bullet and added 15 SAPE links to site 1 just to see what happens, so this is pretty much a GSA + SAPE drip feed case study now, rather than just GSA SER

I always wanted to try out gsa on a money site. I know it is possible with the right settings. Anyway thank you for sharing us this case study. I will subscribe to this.

#followed your thread several weeks ago.
very nice

SAPE is a russian link network that lets you rent out high authority footer and sidebar backlinks for a very reasonable monthly rate.

Site 1 might have gotten slapped today. Won't know for sure because I'm keeping these sites out of WMT.

Okay so...these sites basically returned to where they were now that the Penguin update has cooled off a bit.

The trickle of GSA links hasn't really moved the needle much since the last update, so I'm going to throw 50 public blog network posts at each of these sites to try for that final push and get some money out of these sites. All links will be purchased from the huge public blog network owned by @seoways

The good news is I can probably get away with targeting all my desired keywords directly with these posts, since the anchor text ratio is completely under 1% right now.

Verdict: GSA alone won't rank you for lucrative keywords nowadays, but it can definitely put you on the map and support your tiers.

This is really cool. I think a lot of people want to know this (but many wont give it a try). Thank you for letting us know OP!

A whole bunch of the keywords shot up to the #5-15 keyword range with 50 posts on each site from @seoways. Now that I've given time for posts to roll off, most of the sites are sitting on the bottom of the second page for their targeted keywords. I think I'm approaching the end of the lines with how far I can push these sites with cheap link sources, tbh.

The coveted rankings are close, so I might risk it all and open a portion of my ~200 site personal PBN to point to these sites

In other news, Site 5 gave me a 12-month subscription last month for ~$130.

Basically you either get a PBN or pay for services to actually rank something that can make you money.

So the free ways to rank even long tail keywords are long gone.

To be honest, the cheap way of ranking are far gone and I guess you know that already. It takes powerful/related links to rank a site this days.

Would be interesting to see if the old web2.0 buffer method still works.

Build 20-50 web2.0 to a long tail of 1-3k MS and send links to the web2.0 and see if it ranks.

So what's the conclusion after 7 months? I didn't use GSA long time(1 year for sure), but mostly I rank for high and medium competition keywords so GSA is defiantly not useful.

Now have more and more local clients so I was thinking to try on some of the mine local website(to not f*ck clients website) to use GSA, you think maybe it can work still on some local keywords and low competition?

Can it still even be good just for brand anchor and exact domain names to rank for those keywords? And the last question, can GSA be still useful for anything now this days :)? To not lose time on setup etc for nothing :).
