yeah i've mainly done refunds if the product was broken or it didn't arrive. I've never had anyone send a product back

Ended up profiting yesterday after changing the price back to the original and changing the ads. Managed to do $119 of sales on a $10 spend.

Today was my best day so far $248, I made an ad for a new product, it went alright got one sale for $19.80 but only cost $4 so I will continue testing that product because the margin is much larger and the customers are more likely to purchase other items from my store. It seems like the current product is only selling specifically that product which is fine but it makes it harder to become a brandable store. So much uni work today and until wednesday so I might do a bulk/ weekly update.

Ad spend $4


Going to increase my ad spend to $30 and see how that goes. I seem to be getting most sales after 4-5 PM (Aus time)

You're getting some crazy ROI on main product, congrats on that.
Some advice -
When making changes, make sure to gain statistical significance (=enough data) before you draw any conclusions.
Also, try to put price of your product at $16.95 but always sell it with discount (at $9.95 or whatever price you were selling it earlier) and put some sort of 'countdown script' that tells the user that discount is available "only for the next 3 days".

Hmmmm, interesting method. I like paid methods too, but only if im not the one paying just curious tho, how do you manage your orders? Do you have to fill out the order by hand and send it to the customer? Or do you have an automted way of doing it? Good luck on your journey BTW!

yeah my adds to cart dropped by 50% and barely anyone was reaching the checkout.. i sent around 100 people to my site and earned $0 which would've been around $80-$120 normally. I'm using a countdown / scarcity app and it works like a charm for this product. My CVR is around 4-5%. My product says $29.95 and marked down to $9.95
ROI is okay, i'm making about $6.5 USD per product

yeah just drop shipping using the oberlo app, it costs about $30 per month but it fills in all the order and add dropship notes ie don't include any forms etc as well as automatically selecting epacket shipping. It takes about 15-20 seconds per order compared to 1-2 minutes

Edit: might suss out purchasing a shoutout on instagram, i don't think the roi is as good as what i'm getting but it will be similar but on a larger scale

Best sales day to date... also had a major F*ck up in the morning when my aliexpress supplier stopped selling or unlisted the product at 7 am in the morning but I didn't realise this until about 2 pm, so I wasted a bit of ad spend sending customers to a 404 page with the product they wanted completely hidden. I have to manually fill out orders now which is such a pain but all good, money is money (its probably a few hundred $ for an hour or twos work). The good thing is that I was planning on changing supplier (found a cheaper one with epacket shipping). Now my profit margin is about an extra 10% WOO

Also my CVR was about 2% higher today, not sure why but it seemed to happen after changing product suppliers. Could just be a coincidence or possibly higher due to using CAPITALS on product variants (BLUE, INDIGO, VIOLET etc).

Going to try increasing the budget again for the weekend. Maybe crank it up a bit more, the scaling seems to be perfect, every $1 i increase it gives me another $8-10 of revenue.


for anyone watching, i think my sales are mostly good due to having a good theme (winged it and spent $160 USD) cheap product pricing $9.95 and offering free shipping. My margins aren't as high as when I was promoting on tumblr but my EPC is so much higher. Also make sure to make potential buyers aware of your refund policy, mine is pretty meaningless (not completely terrible but not that great).

yeah dude i spent about $150 total on fb ads before finding a real winner, you can definitely make money easily. i recommend testing ads for $5 and if you don't get a sale give up on that product until you find a winner, my biggest problem earlier was not doing this and trying to make it work. Sometimes it just doesn't. Split test ads on USA vs Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland (really easy to get sales from Italy - its like throwing money into a pit and coming back later to find it doubling). My product is really cheap $2.50 cost price and selling it for $9.95 but i might try finding a product with a bigger margin. Create ads with canva or look for user images on aliexpress and use them, just don't get caught

yeah i have about 50-100 products but 95% of my sales go toward one product
