My site randomly started decreasing in rank

Today I was on page 3, now I went down to page 4, then to 5, and now 6. Ranking is going down and down. Not just for my site too, other sites that were ranking around me are being pushed down the SERPs. Did I get hit? I can't tell since my site isn't connected to google webmasters

What links did you build before the drop?

Sometimes, >powerful links = >google dance

ESP when your site's ranking is outside Page 1.
I experience this everyday working with client's sites that are ranking outside Pg 1.....

Most of the times it comes back higher after all the links are indexed, cache and "calculated".

I built 1 PBN link, my site got knocked down to page 6 again

Do not get worried until you have waited for several days to see what happens to your rankings.

It's just a Google dance. Considering that you just built the links. Just give it more times. 1-2 weeks till it settled.
