I want to run a contest for my followers in the tattoo niche ,my first option was to give money but i'd like to find a prize close to my niche .

Yeah, I've learned that the hard way, after 3 giveaways of pretty decent things of value, I decided to never do it again. Wasn't worth the investment, nobody seemed to care even though it was completely relevant and worth trying to win.

People just tap the like button and move down the feed, probably never even pay attention to the fact that it's a giveaway even if written in huge letters. IG is an app for fast clicking and viewing with very little "engagement" if you can consider random comments like 'great shot' engaging.

Having given away close to that, it didn't pay off, but it might work with your content ... I personally wouldn't try it again unless I was given free money or things to give away.

Food / beverages, maybe not the most engaged group out there but it was pretty underwhelming, and then the follow-up to winning was totally silent, didn't even post a photo or respond with thanks, any of the times they won, it's like they entered without using a brain cell.
