Sorry if this isn't the right spot. Admins please move if not.

I have begun acquiring expired domains, putting up content, linking etc.

Obviously my Tier 1 and Money Site need to be relevant.

I purchased some links to boost TF/CF for my Tier 1 and help them get indexed.

Then I ran my Tier 1 back through Majestic and have seen its topic change pretty dramatically...

Is this as bad as it seems, or am I over-reacting?

Can you elaborate on this? Do you mean the topical trust flow? Has it worsened or improved?

Sorry. The Trust Flow has improved from 14 --> 18, but now my site has changed from being primarily about Business/N. America --> Europe, Health and Recreation because of the blog comments... I suppose im concerned with relevance because of Penguin. Am I right to be concerned?

I'm sure a lot of people are going to disagree with me but from my findings it doesn't really matter what the site that is linking to your money site is about as long as it has a strong backlink profile. I've had good success with websites that have all kinds of content completely unrelated linking to my money site as long as the actual article that the link is placed in is related to the keywords that you're targeting. And since you say that it's a PBN and you make all the content on it related to the keywords that you want to target on your money site I don't think you have very much to worry about just because Majestic thinks your website is about a different topic.

Thanks for the reply and sharing your experience. I'm trying to get a feel for just how advanced Google's algorithm is!

Partly what fheaky said. As long as you are using the relevant keywords AND getting links from relevant websites also in the mix, it does not really matter what Majestic thinks at this point of time. Keep an eye on your keywords. On the positive side, the website TF has improved. So, keep doing whatever you are doing without getting paranoid about Google.
