Why mention the largest IG accounts?

Hi guys,

Looking to understand this method.
Why would someone make a post and tag the 100 largest accounts on Instagram in the caption with every post they make ?
I can understand mentioning small accounts, but what do you get out of mentioning the largest accounts in the market?

Supposedly it puts your post at top of the feed, don't take my word on it that's what I've heard.

I think it's BS. I tried it on a couple of accounts & noticed no difference.

nothing but a crap shoot, with wishful thinking that a famous person will like or even shoutout your post. whats the chance that a celebrity will even read your fan mail?

posting with fitness niche, not mentioning those accounts but other big fitness IGers has helped my posts get more attention
