Finally making the "big" bucks!

Hi BHW,

first of all, i want to thank the members here from the bottom of my heart. Im here for over 3 years reading every day and setting my mind up for the internet business. Without the users here posting, i would never be able to finally make some money online. Its not much, but for me it means everything.


Im finally making my first money from the web. Its about 470$ in the last 2 weeks.

My method is following:

I made an eBook with some methods from BHW. I rewrote it nicely and made screenshots and everything in it. Every few days i update the thing and add new methods.

I sell this eBook on a forum/marketplace. I got a nice design for banner and thread from an gfx guy and sold that ebook now 8x.

Thats a huge step for me, because i just made a few bucks from internet marketing. Never over 20-30$.


Now time has come, and the method is working. But i want to squeeze it out and make more out of it.

Thats why i opened this thread to ask you!

What would you do, to scale this whole thing?

How can i get more users into buying, without putting the price down?

What can i give my users, besides the eBook, to make it more tasty for them to buy?


I dont want to change the price, because its already high and i dont know if users will keep buying it.

Im sure, there are users here, which have ideas on there mind, to scale this method up to make more out of it.

Just say whats on your mind, everything could be helpful for me

You could put the Ebook on Clickbank or similar sites and offer affiliates with large email lists to get a higher bonus percentage. Just say you make $50 per ebook selling yourself you may only make like 1-5 sales/day. But if someone can make 100+ sales/day for you then even if you only made $5 per ebook you would make double the amount with less work.

Basically I'm saying JV with someone who has a large email list and make sure you build your own list with the emails of people who buy your product so you can promote upsells and other things in the future.

Expand your product line with different topics. You've done it once just duplicate what you did with more, and more and more topics. Definitely build your buyers list and promote your new stuff directly to them.

I would have a website with a sales page that targets people interested in earning a revenue online. Wrap the social profile well to attract lucrative sales.

Test out the product's final assessment, and as BMarvelous explained put it on clickbank.

You may as well automate your processes to save time and energy.

Increasing the price is the easiest way to make more money with this.
Build an email list so you can sell them other relevant things. (hosting deals, seo/smm/design services, consulting, other making money guides).
One-on-one training could easily be the most lucrative upsell in your arsenal. Frame it as a limited time offer, with limited positions available, like every other 'guru'.
Expand your marketing efforts. Find forums, websites, social media profiles that are in line with your current traffic source. Start reaching out to those communities.

1.Create some buzz around the ebook - give it away to some respected members of whatever forum you are on and get some great reviews in - this will make it much more enticing to everyone else.
2.Do a series - like a follow on e-book so that once buyers have one, they will want the other.

Other things like that - basically making your existing product look more and more attractive and also upselling to all of your existing buyers.

The problem is, that then the eBook would spread like shit. If its just 5$ somebody would buy it and just upload it anywhere or resell it.

Future products will going to sell fine, with the vouchers from the buyers i got, i think.

I already gave it to the owner of the forum and he gave a good voucher.

I also thought of a series. Or maybe an eBook, wich is much cheaper and easier to afford to all the members on the forum.

I think people who buy ebooks like this would love to have their hand held throughout the whole process. Be that hand they can hold. Work with them on teamviewer to set up eveything: domain, hosting, uploading landing pages, promotion, etc. If you have any tips that are not included in the ebook, this would be a good place to mention them and a good thing to mention in your upsell sales copy.

I get a lot of messages from users who are interested, but the last step to buy is missing

I need that extra cherry on the cupcake to get them to pay the price. The little extra they need to buy it.


I'll do a "fake" limitation the next days. Maybe then they will buy it, before their chance is gone.


I also thought of a price increase after every bought product. Maybe 10-20$, so they think to buy it now for cheap price before another gets it and they need to pay more.



edit: i want to thank everyone in this thread for their post. Even if i didnt answered oder quoted your post, it IS helpful. Maybe i cant use your tips for this product, but for future products maybe. And other users are looking at this thread, and maybe exactly your post help them to make the money they need.

If the book is well written and looks good, you could approach a couple of well kown names in your field and ask for an endorsement maybe ?

The other thing to consider would be whatever the niche is, if you know the niche inside and out, offer training / coaching or a Facebook group type additional add on.

I see no one cares about beginners, i'm experienced adsense publisher, I know about black hat and white hat seo, I can't tell you that I will teach you how to make 1000 in a day because guys like this are liers but I can help everyone to get 50-100 dollars in a day and if they are smart enought they will start making more after some time, pm me your skype and I will help you, I will teach you basics of adsense and white-black hat seo, please pm me if you are really interested and motivated, don't waste my time because I have lot of people which needs real help.

Congratulations on sticking with it and finding something that's working for you. I love seeing threads like this where something finally clicks for someone who stuck it out so long. I wouldn't be in a huge hurry to raise the prices just yet, you may end up turning away more customers than what the extra $ is worth. One thing you could do is try doing little "contests/giveaways". Put up a header or something that basically says that the next 10 people who purchase will be entered into a drawing and you'll pick one of them in 'x' days or w/e to receive an exclusive method that you will not be including in your books for the public. That's only one small one I came up with off the top of my head, but there's lots of little things like that you can do that will help to get people interested and excited about buying.
