This thread is shady, shady, shady.

Now that Thomas has also chimed in briefly, it's pretty obvious what me/others were saying all along was true (you only value based on monthly profit).

Roy - latonas.com DON'T just value a site based on monthly revenue (or at least, I hope they don't). That is incredibly stupid and probably the worst business model / pricing strategy they can have. If this was the case, ANYONE can make a site, boost it with FB/PPC and then try to sell it off later for 5-6 figures just because "the revenue is high".

Now based on what you said above - with a monthly profit of $350, you are out of your mind to be initially asking for $32K.

And then to drop that price to $26K is just another sham.

As I mentioned to you before, a website/online business can be sold for much more than 48x monthly profit IF the niche + site is appropriate. From what Thomas has said above, your site was obviously not sustainable/fitting enough to even provide a valuation - so in my opinion, $5K is the very, very max you can even sell this for. Note how I say "max". Like someone else said on this thread, the $2K region sounds more realistic.

The fact that you are trying to sell this for $26K + trying to value your site based on monthly income alone just screams avoid. You probably saw a lot of the bigger sites being sold on Flippa/EF and thought "hey let me try sell one of my sites for big bucks too" but obviously it backfired on you.

EDIT: Another member was kind enough to send me the "site" / business you're trying to sell. Even though I said the max value would be $5K, in my opinion I would not pay any more than $2K for this.

This is NOT the type of site you can even attempt to sell for any more than 12 months monthly profit. No wonder Thomas refused to give you a valuation.

It's very relieving that others caught onto this before some unsuspecting member took the bait and invested the 5 figs into buying this "business".

I totally understand Leith, but then again, why the flying duck did Latonas valued my site and posted it on their site for 5 figures?!

But then again, it makes sense to rely on profit than on revenue, but then again I don't know why Latona's valued it at 5 figures...

I decided I will create another thread, post all monthly revenues along with profit margins and go with the monthly average profit.

Last few months I was making $420 or so, so yea something like $4,200 seems like a good price for this, following your reasoning, Leith.

Why did you tell me it was making x amount of profit when that was a lie? You are now pretending like you're all innocent and just went on the valuation of one broker when we all know you're more intelligent than that. There is 100% a lot of BS being thrown around by you and if I hadn't taken a closer look at this then I too would have been indoctrinated

Lied? Not sure when I "lied" to you. I always said ROI was 20% - 40% that's it. Nothing shady, unlike your pokemon go sites that make $2,400 a month without the site being a month old xD

On the day day I sent that message we made $80 from a deal that would equate to that monthly total.

Just so I am clear, is the 1.9k/month after paying for the leads and VA?

How is this not a lie? You are delusional

Hahah yea I remember!

you were trying to swap my business for your pokemon go sites!

Obviously, you were trying to scam me so I just tried scammed you back! :D

You were trying to sell me sites that in no way they are/were making any profit so I was just trying to playing dirty back to you! :D

Open a shitlist if you want, we both know you were trying to con me first :D

You literally just admitted to trying to scam me? Biggest bull-shitter I have ever heard of

How the fuck were we trying to scam you? Shitlist will be opened soon. You can count on that
Yea, how are those pokemon sites worth $30k? xD
You were trying to swap me some sites that aren't even worth the $10 of the domain in exchange for a business that actually makes money.

How is that not a scam?

Please pm me the shitlist link, I'll be here ;)

Thread locked at OP's request

Just a note, as the mod that approved the thread I feel a little to blame here. I thought the valuation was high but I was lead to believe the "average earnings" Roy was talking about was profit, not revenue...

Roy has told me he will be submitting a new thread where this is made much clearer, and the price is much more realistic.
