Paypal 1800-2500 euros limit

Hey guys, recently paypal has shown me this message when I log in to my account:

I'm under 18 so I was thinking about faking the informations, If i get caught using fake infos, losing the money isn't a huge deal but I don't want to have problems with the law.
So is paypal somehow linked with the government? Or if they catch me will they send informations to the government?
I have used my real name, adress, etc but just the age is different

I imagine they are asking you to upload a copy of your ID?
No big deal, you can use photoshop to "adjust" your birth date or use Secondeye's service here in BST.

Don't worry, I went through the same process. Apparently when I created my PayPal, I wasn't 18 yet. Send your verification ID, PayPal will block your current account - but you'll still be allowed to withdraw all your money to your bank account. They'll advise you to create a new account with the correct information.

Thanks for your replies guys but it doesn't quite answer my main question which is; may i get in troubles with the government for faking an ID on paypal or they will just shut the account, take my money and that's it?

No you won't.

Faking your ID is a "crime" but who the hell cares In worst case pp will close your account for good & if you´re lucky enough they might allow you to withraw the funds after 180 days...
