know what it is now.
best strategy ever haha.
im not, know exactly what it does I was told. Not sure if trolling... because that link goes nowhere.
It's absolutely nothing! Somebody is fucking around trolling just trying to get people to think they have a secret.
l.instagram.com domain is called a link shim. Basically allows you to share a link on Facebook without someone necessarily having to follow you or be your friend. You can verify this by clicking this link :
http://l.instagram.com/?e=ATMhAEQta...s7zP-SqpdM3k0xTeZRqxQ&u=http://www.google.com which will open google in the Facebook browser on mobile.
Replace google.com in that link with whatever website you want and it will open in the Facebook browser.
So… My theory is that someone just figured that out and want to get a laugh out of people who would try it. Why do I think that? Because every Instagram account gets indexed by Google. So anything with that particular link show up in the search results. I think it's absolute bullshit
The theory behind this is:
You want to scroll down to the posts but you can't because you are clicking on the "what.what.what.." bio and Instagram opens the browser.
There is often a text in the bio like "to avoid that you have to click the post number to scroll automatically down".
There is a risk to click accidentally the "follow" button instead of the post number.
This is a method to "gain more" followers.![]()
If this is the true meaning, I just wasted 10 minutes of my time trying to understand this shit. The theory behind this is:

All of you are wrong, I'll tell you that much. Obviously the people who do know aren't going to tell you.
