Creating Web 2.0s - Hiding Identity

Hi folks,

With reference to the article below, I'm planning to build a small network of Web 2.0s. But it's just occurred to myself that Google may track our visits to these feeder sites and may even put two and two together.

I have Ghostery installed which helps protect my identity and web history, but should I be taking this a step further? Would incognito mode help? I can work through VPNs, albeit it would be pain in the backside to work on so many sites.

I'm familiar with TOR of course, but I really don't fancy developing 50+ web 2.0s in a TOR browser, I can't think of much worse.

Any advice on this would be great. Am I being paranoid, or rightly cautious?

Im guessing it was a mistype, but in all honesty, use what ever browser you want. There is zero evidence that suggests that google is spying on you blackhating away through their browser. I have been using chrome for years and had no problems.

People are overly cautious these days when there is very little need to be. If you want to play it safe, then by all means, do it. But just remember, that time is better spent doing other things.

Incognito mode will help you much. I'm doing web 2.0s for my clients with private proxies and incognito mode ( switching browser every time) & its working good.

Just curious, why do you use proxies? Is it just so there is no mass ban on the web 2.0 with multi accounts, or another reason?

Different IPs is must needed when you are doing same thing online again and again. How long a web 2.0 platform will allow you to create accounts from same IP!!! Thats why i usually use a single IP to register with different platform ( like blogger, wp, yolasite, tumblr etc) and get a new one for another set of web 2.0s.

Thats the answer I was looking for. Alot of people these days seem to advise using them because they think that google can somehow see the backend of the web 2.0s and trace back their ip lol
