Go daddy Revoked my .com After 1 day?

So I decided to buy my first .com and put it on x10host free hosting and made up a simple news site for sharing on social media, And it was revoked for verification but I paid with my bank account so I don't know why they would do this? they want photo id but I have no scanner..

But anyway what I want is for you to recommended a domain provider for me, that wont fuck me about?

I am pretty new to all of this was my mistake using a free host?

They do it if they suspect the 99 cent domain coupon abuse mostly. You could have simply clicked a photo from your cell phone and send it to godaddy.
Besides, they do give you a lot of time to verify your identity before they revoke the domain. Your money will be refunded though.

Go for namesilo, for a cheaper price it also throws in whois protection for free.
 
Oh right yes taking a photo, Good Idea completely slipped my mind. And yes I got it with a cash back deal so i guess that answers that problem Thanks

also note ur address in id and domain whois shld perfectly match
 
Godaddy isn't afraid of anyone and does this a lot. However, when this is Problem is when you decide to create the account without your details.

That is when it turns to real ****
 
Well I was messing around in the settings on the c panel trying to change the domain settings and managed to delete everything :mad:

At least it was only 2 days of work wasted I keep having set backs and failing a lot grrrrrr.... But it least on the bight side I will learn from this and make sure it wont happen again, In a way I am glad it happened to day and not after the weekend where I would of lost even more time.

Frustrating.... anyway best get back to other tasks that need to be done and reflect and re focus on what I can do better with the new build.
 
The only thing that shocks me is that people still use godaddy :/ never use them, they have the most ridiculous fucking backend I've ever seen, adverts here, upgrades there, it boggles my mind that they managed to make that clusterfuck work even if through an incredibly aggravating interface. After buying some domains off auction they put you on a $20/year renewal for the domain and charge exorbitant fees for whois privacy. It's unbelievable how shitty they can be and people still use their services! /rant
 
Go daddy work with Google finding pbn
And marketers Forget them totally
 
Use another registrar like Namecheap where they offer some good service. I am hearing about Identity card first time.

I'll take a look, my sites are well spread out so i'll keep my fingers crossed and not build on them in the future.
